Just like Bart said, what you did with that song, the voice, the way you gave that song a place, the final touches... everything was really great. I will recommend to work a bit on when you go for the high notes when you're singing, but I can imagine here in these circumstances... You did it very well. I do sometimes have the feeling thinking there's an amazing band or 'de Nant' is an amazing piano player, let them do the playing, but with you I didn't have that feeling. Because I found that the combination worked perfectly and that's often a little doubt from me but with you totally not. So yeah ehm I'm very impressed of what you did. Congratulations"

The language by the way is Flemish, only spoken by around 6 million people in the Flanders (=Vlaanderen), which is the North side of Belgium. (The south side(5 million people) speak French) Flemish is the belgian version of Dutch. The differences between Flemish and Dutch are about as big as the differences between American English and British English. So on paper it's pretty much the same language, just a couple of words are different and of course the accent sounds A LOT different.

I wish there was a "Chair turn but I can't pick you" red option. To honor the performer and performance. I didn't know this song before Ibe performed it here but it seems more perfect for him and this time in his life. It seems like a youthful "first love" kind of song and he really nailed it.

What Ibe shows here is you don’t need to have an insane vocal range or belting ability to be great. His tone, his quality and talent is one of a kind. This was the perfect audition because it showed only the positives in his vocal ability. Well done Ibe. You definitely deserved to win just from this audition alone!
I come back to this every once in a while. It really is one of the most touching auditions I've ever heard.
I absolutely love the way he covered this song. He slowed it down just a tad and made it so simple and emotional with his elegant piano skills. I also completely adore his melty voice tone, it’s so slow and smooth and deep and rich. After this, I found and listened to his full cover but I think I enjoy this version a little more because you can hear how much he's developed from when he recorded the full cover, and it’s insane. I really hope he wins because I haven’t heard a voice I loved so much in a long time.

I came across this guy watching him singing 'when the partys over' and I'm so fascinated by his voice. I guess now he has fans in Brazil.
I love the way the judges don’t say anything when he is singing. The ones in the uk and us make it all about themselves. It’s all about this guy, he’s such a good singer and pianist.
