- This video was a long time in waiting as the request was made over a year ago. What a patient subscriber! It was and is a bit uncomfortable showing pictures of myself and telling about the realities of my life. However, I do not want to shrink away from the truth. We are better people if we don't hide. Doesn't make it easier but it can be better. I have blurred out the faces of people whom I could not get permission from or that wished to remain anonymous. I have not divulged personal details of the reasons for my divorces in order to avoid ungodly gossip or slander. There are always two sides to every story. At the end of the video there is a digital slide show of the very same photo's I show by paper. This is for those who would like a more clear visual of the photos. I hope that this is truly an ASMR experience for most and not just a curiosity. Thank you for watching.

I have been watching ASMR videos for several years and discovered your channel by chance a few months ago, and I’ve been hooked since - what drew me in were not only the relaxing sounds and scenes you create in your videos, but your lovely personality and caring attitude. I can tell this channel means a lot to you and you put a lot of care in creating the best experience you can for us watchers - believe me, this comes across! This video reveals a far different truth even in its ambiguity of facts. I am so hopelessly flawed and make some terrific messes. No hiding that now. Rebecca, this was so touching. Thank you for sharing your life, both the ups and downs. What a story! You made a me cry just a few times.😢But mostly I laughed and related to a lot. What a loving mother you were and are--what adventures you had and memories made. I believe our strong upbringings/love of family are a large part of how we turn out as adults/parents. Sometimes we need help/guidance along the way and that's ok. My husband and I enjoy hiking all classes of trails...our daughters, not so much. They love camping in our trailer...me, I'll get back to you about that.😉My husband and I hope to explore more of Montana one day. FYI, my mom gets a box of Cella chocolate covered cherries from me every Christmas, I kid you not!😄I'm sure I speak for all of your followers that we are so grateful for your channel. Well, Samantha, your comment made me laugh out loud and I almost cried. I’m so happy that you could relate to so much of what I talked about in my life. I love hiking. I’m not as able to do it right now because of my hip. But I still get outdoors whenever I can. I am dying for more of it. RVing is so fun! I did a lot of it with my ex-husband. Taking my little home with me everywhere I went was like a dream come true. I think I would be most satisfied that I had seen the best of Montana just having been to Yellowstone. But I have to say that the next best place is the bitterroot valley going north and south but mostly south on Highway 93. If you get to go again that’s what I would recommend. The rest of Montana is so desertous. What an amazing coincidence about the chocolate covered cherries! That made me laugh. What almost made me cry was that you quoted my business card. Two things I could really relate to, losing a beloved cat to a coyote and a last phone call to a parent who could only listen to what I had to say, but I was told they had tears in their eyes. I am crying when you cry and smiling when you smile throughout your life in pictures. You are a beautiful soul, Rebecca.

I clicked on this video and I noticed the length. Over 2 hours. That should be sufficient time for me to unwind after a long day and fall asleep….
As you might have guessed that is not what ended up happening. I ended up watching the video all the way to the end. I even watched parts of it again to make sure I did not miss any important facts. I know we only got a glimpse into your personal life, but from what you have shared I feel so much closer to you. I have also been in a horrible marriage, me and my children had to run several times to find safety from my abusive husband. There were so many twists and turns in my life as well. It also sounds like we had a similar upbringing and similar fathers. I am or I should say was an avid sun worshiper.
You are a wonderful person, with flaws and all. We all have them. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your story.

I so enjoyed your video! It was a good day to watch it since I wasn't feeling well and just laid on the couch and enjoyed it. It was very relaxing with your fingers touching each picture, that was a good choice of hard paper to print on. It also relaxed my mind after the holiday rush. It was also fun to watch since we have so much in common..same age, love to hike, and I am a photographer who would rather create something than to work for someone else. So I have very little left. Some are not very talkative and some are sick. I try to make conversation but I feel like I’m taking their time. Thank you for even asking.
@@Celenite384 That’s very difficult, Alyssa. I know a lot about how you feel. I was separated from family for 12 years because I moved to Tennessee. I had to find a whole new reason to live. To make matters worse my mom then passed away. Such a dark and lonely time. But eventually, God brought other people into my life to assuage the loneliness. Now, finally, family has come to live here with me. I hope that you find many friends. Or that they find you. Press in with the family members that you think you are bothering. Find out what they need. That could possibly change the dynamics between you and they. Maybe? 🤷🏻♀️ Love and hugs to you my friend. ❤️🤗🤗🤗
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction I think it’s because my Mom’s side are extremely religious. I believe in God and I pray. They’re beliefs is that you don’t divorce and if you don’t go to church every week. They want nothing to do with you. I’m divorced ten years now and I haven’t married and I don’t date. Cause the damage I went through was awful and I haven’t met anyone that I think would be a good father to my daughter. So I know that’s one point they don’t like. However I won’t give up hope. Thank you for talking to me about it. It brings me alot of comfort to hear that.
I totally understand. I have undergone three divorces. I met with quite a bit of condemnation from all around as I was very much involved in the church. It’s a shame that there is so much of that within the framework of religion. You certainly mustn’t behave in order to gain approval. Your convictions are between you and God. I am a devout believer but I am fully aware now that God is grace and love. I don’t subscribe to the typical legalism of church. Our morals and convictions must come from a heartfelt relationship with God himself. No other individual may pass judgment on us except as it pertains to the law. I don’t mean to preach but I have experienced that loneliness which comes from being ostracized for doing what was absolutely necessary for me. 🤗🤗🤗

I just finished watching your video Rebecca. I really enjoyed every minute of this very human story. What I liked and Loved about this video is what I love and admire about you, your openness, your vulnerability, and the courage you have to not hide from the truth of yourself or your life. You have much strength and with genuine humility you push through the parts even if they make you uncomfortable. You do not allow fear to control you. Also I am attracted to the part of you that loves to have fun. These characteristics make you so very attractive as a woman and as a person. To me you are very Lovable. No wonder Jerry had Loved you for so long. You have grown so very much from that wounded young lady to the wise woman you have become. You have traversed through life while dealing with so much fear and pain and now you have made it through to the other side. I believe you and Jerry will have many happy, joyous, and free years together. The photo of you and Jerry standing in front of the Giant Redwood tree was so striking and beautiful to me. Ever since I was in the 4th grade and saw the Giant Redwoods in a library book I have wanted to stand in a Redwood forest. It was on my list even my bucket list of places to go but I never made it. To see you two standing in that beautiful place in front of that majestic Redwood tree made me feel warm inside and misty eyed. Jerry and I are both now in our 60s. As the world goes darker, and we start to slow down because of apparent aging, we grow more important to each other.
The giant redwoods, and the whole high sierra mountain range along California, and Montana are the most breathtaking, amazing places in the world. Yosemite, Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon. Those were my favorite stomping grounds when I was growing up and in later years. I miss the west so much. But everything that we lose little by little, will be restored to us infinitely when our Lord returns.

I have to keep my head wrapped in that truth because I am slowing down and having to let go of so many youthful joys….like seeing. 👓 👀 Especially as I look into my super magnifying mirror just to get my makeup on, and end up staring sadly at the large chin hairs and lip wrinkles. 🤣🤣

I have not missed Southern California for years and years. It is only in the last year that I think I catch fragrances in the air that are so reminiscent of where I grew up. My heart floods with a longing for an unnamed thing which I can never recapture. It’s a sacred romance with all that was love and lovely from my childhood. Nature and the weather are the prize things of Southern California. I do not miss the people or cities or lifestyle at all. I remember sitting on Malibu beach and somebody pointing out and saying, “you can see Torrance from here”. If I recall correctly. I have never been there. Please remind me of where you live, Lisa.

My parents were once looking at it in a carpark a few years before. The owner came over and said if ever he was to sell it, he would sell it to my dad. They swapped telephone numbers ( before mobiles) and 2 years later, the phone rang. It was that man, he said im selling my wagon, do you want to buy. At the time my dad had just been made redundant from his job. He had no money, he said id love too, but i only have around 500 pounds spare. The man said, thats fine, as i know youll cherish it and look after it. So that was that! He bought it, way, way cheaper than it was worth and true to his word, my dad would send him pictures of holidays in it and work he did to it. My dad's 64 now, im 38 and my sister is 42. We had loads of memories in it. Lovely when i see another. That smell of the fuel and engine sound comes back to me. Haha Xxx. Hope you are well. Xxx

Oh sweet Rebecca, I have smiled and giggled so much hearing you talk about some of your life. My heart is so big for you sweetie because it seems we had a lot of the same issues in our lives. I too love ASMR and have a little just for fun ASMR channel called @Mermanda’s Mermaid Tales ASMR but it’s been awhile since doing videos there and been awhile since I’ve done my beauty vids here on this channel because this past year I had to fight stage 2 triple negative breast cancer I was diagnosed with last Nov 2020. Now that I’m feeling and looking more like myself I hope to get back to both of my channels and know you inspire me sweet friend. Thank you soooo much for telling us a bit about you and your life. I got such tingles for the flipping sounds and tappings sounds on the photos and of course from your calming voice. I was only 17yrs old when I became a mother and I too had a shotgun wedding that sadly only lasted 6yrs. I also was frightened and scared a lot too sweet Rebecca because he would leave me alone at home away from our families with a small child and I didn’t even have very many close neighbors to help me if I needed help. I got married one month and two days before my daughter was born on July 4th 1996. I was a baby having a baby but I was a dang amazing mama to her. My daughter is my best friend and we got to grow up together. She is now 25yrs old and she is my whole world. As a photographer I love looking at old family pics even if it’s not my own family. I love old wedding pics too and really in love with vintage wedding gowns, vintage wedding veils and vintage jewelry. By the way your nails look beautiful! I’ve been doing nail videos in hopes to share them on my channel but I think you should do us a nail video💅🏼💕 Sending love and hugs from the mountains of southeast Kentucky 💙

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction I finished chemo back in June 2021, did my double mastectomy Aug 4, 2021, did my breast expander surgery Aug 13, 2021 and I have been doing my expander fill ups slowly stretching the breast skin over the past 4 months and I have one more breast surgery to go. I hope it will be soon and it will be the expander replacement surgery where they will take the expanders out and put in implants. I am in remission and I pray I will continue to have clear scans and be able to say I’m cancer free someday. I will be doing my second set of scans soon and pray that they too will be clear. Out of all my lymph nodes they removed one that tricked them making them think it had cancer in it when it was negative and only had infection in it. Also I am not BRACCA positive and did not test positive for any of the genetics that can cause cancer so that was indeed a blessing. Not just for me but for my mother and my daughter because if I were to be positive they would have a high chance of getting breast cancer too so the good lord has blessed me in many way during this journey. 💓

Hi Rebecca! Ive been watching this video the last few days…lol😂im a binge watcher…as ill watch the same one over and over for hours..anyway, the lady that took your cats hit a nerve….I had a yellow Labrador retriever named Buddy..I had looked into different kennels and had got him when he was able as a puppy..he was my dream dog..anyway, i lived on Lake Michigan and Buddy would sometimes walk on the beach and play in the water….he was about two when he just was gone all the sudden one day and we had eveybody out looking for him..all the neighbors ect. No Buddy. We put up flyers all over the area …three weeks go past and i was devastated. One day I get a call from a woman and she said she had my dog…she said she had taken him even though he had a collar and our phone number on the tags and she even knew who we were but she said she just wanted him but that the guilt was getting to her so she had to come clean. I went to her home about ten miles away in town and picked him up…poor buddy was just sitting inside this womans little tiny apt on a busy street…he couldnt even go outside….anyway, I never would have dreamed that someone would knowingly steal someones pet..she saw the flyers and adin the local paper and kept him two weeks after that even….🥺😒
