I’m the same. I’m petite 5ft 2 and I find Raquel Welch wigs swamp me because I have a small face, so I’m told lol. I do wish RW would stop using so much permatese in her wigs, although I know some people like the bouffant look, it’s just not for me. I love Simmer original although it goes matted very quickly, but am waiting for a discount on Simmer Elite.

Question… beautiful you..The highlights look very much like separate bands w the ss cappuccino on the Simmer. Do you think w combing it could look more integrated more like foiled hair? BTW: congrats on your stunning backdrop! It is stunning, so we’ll designed & so you. Amazing but it does not come off too busy, it’s FAB! I love it❤️
This is an old background that I really don't use much anymore but it was fun; I'm not sure combing through the wigs would really alter the look of the highlighting on this one. xoxo

Another excellent review, Eileen. Just wondering why the Elite is so heavy compared to similar hand-tied caps. It's a full ounce heavier than Upstage, for instance. Yet it doesn't seem bulky and isn't very long. Some reviewers have called it "low density"--it looks that way on you (and others), yet the manufacturer's photo looks kind of bulky. Whatcha think? Does it feel somewhat heavy on the head to you?
Hi; I'm sure the length of hair is a factor contributing to the weight, Simmer is longer at the crown and sides however I do not feel like it is that heavy when wearing it at all.Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend! xoxo

Hi Julie; density can be a touchy subject, what might seem low density to me might seem like a lot of hair for someone else. If a wig has a full hand tied cap they are fairly low density (in my opinion) again this varies from person to person depending on what they feel is "low" density. xoxo
I really love this but want to make sure I choose correctly with this pricing and fit, etc. I wear the regular Belle Tress Caliente, thinking of ordering her in the hand tied or dipping my toe into the Raquel Welch pond. I have similar measurements as you. What are your opinions on these styles? Should I stick with Caliente or try Simmer? And if so should I do the hand tied or just stay with the regular wefted. Thank you 😊
How does Simmer elite compare to Jon Renau Julianne lite? I feel like they are very similar styles and I prefer a low profile (low permatease). Which one is a lower profile?
Is the elite simmer more curly or still wavy like the original simmer? I have the editors pick elite and it’s curlier than the original, and personally, I’m not keen on that. Thanks.
