"There are so many things I wish I had known" - and so say all of us! There is so much to learn - where would we be without our lovely wig reviewers like Eileen? Have fun on your wig journey everyone.
I relate to your experience with first wig wear. I was scared it was going to stay laying on the exam table when sitting up from exam. I can laugh about it now. 🤣
GREAT advice, Eileen! This was very helpful and I always appreciate the education that you provide on wigs. I love to open conversations up with women about my wig wearing as well and I hope that eventually it will take the perceived stigma out of wig wearing! Love our wig community and how it is a judgement free zone for us all experiencing our individual journeys.
Thank you so much, Eileen! Please consider posting these types of videos on CZcams as well as Instagram. I really enjoy these, but don't have an Instagram account.
Your title was so very appropriate. I have been wearing wigs for a year now (alopecia) and am just now at the stage of where I want to wear different styles and colors. Your stock photo comment, too true. Also how to work with perma tease. I will do that. It is never too late to learn. . . !
Great info! All those years ago I wish I would have known all these things. I guess I had to learn through trial and error, this would be so much Better! God Bless 🤗❤💐
Thank you for posting on CZcams. Very grateful for your kind, helpful wig tips and beautiful wig reviews. I love some of the long wigs you modeled on the 12 weeks of Christmas but I am 70s and just not sure they are appropriate for me. Also, petite person. Just so much fun while watching you. Merry Christmas
I wished I had known that a good quality wig is worth the money. If I had spent the money on the last 6 wigs on 1 or 2 good quality wigs I’d probably be feeling much more confident. I also would like to see better return policies.
I had a lot of hairloss in the late 90s but just lived with it until my treatment stopped. I still have much thinner hair now and I really want to change it up a bit but I dont need to wear one and I feel like a fraud being here but I am going to continue watching and subscribe.
Eileen thank you for this video. Found super informative and helpful. Appreciate you taking the time in putting this video together. I have learned so much from you my friend and the other ladies. ☺ Eileen I do have a question..after you spray the wig with dry shampoo do you comb it out or just leave it as is?
Hi! I am so happy you liked the video, I love these Coffee With The CrazyWigLady chats! I personally don't comb through the dry shampoo, I just give it a really good spray and go, you could however comb it and it would not hurt a thing. Thanks for watching!! xoxo
Eileen this was so good! I have an Instagram account but I still don’t know how to find videos, etc. so I appreciate you publishing the wig chat here. Thanks for showing the wig grip! I’ve never seen one like that and mine is a little bulky. Edit: Eileen, I’d love to know what you think of Wig Wax and what you think it’s good for. Thanks!
Hi Becky, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I actually like the wig wax, it works similar to Jon Renau contour cream but without the greasy feel, it creates texture and separation, I really enjoy it! Thanks again for watching! xoxo
One thing I would love to see is someone steam a wig, I have been looking for a video showing how to do it, how to push a wig away from the face, all wigs I have tend to fall forward, I don't mind that people see me with different hairstyles, I was diagnosed this year with breast cancer, I had two surgeries and radiation but my hair started to fall long before all this, now it's very thin, straight and no body at all so wigs are my present and my future, I found out I don't need front lace, I have some with lace but since I have a big forehead I love to see me with some bangs, I see All of your videos and just got a Codi, I wanted the Codi XO but sadly they don't come in all the shades so I got a normal Codi, I just trimmed the bangs and made the part a little more noticeable, now I am going to try to steam it but It's with a fast beating heart since I've never seen anyone steam a wig before, thanks for another great video and yes, videos are a priceless source for us, photos are very deceiving most of the time, stay well.
Hi, I have two videos showing how to steam a wigs; just search my channel for How to Steam and you will find them, it is a simple process that works great! Thanks so much for watching! xoxo

Hi Linda, lots of brands have nice rooted styles I enjoy, if you are wanted a very subtle root check out Gabor, however Raquel Welch, Ellen Wille, Belle Tress, Jon Reanu all make really nice rooted styles. Have a great day! xoxo
thanks for this info. I'm fairly new to wigs and now I feel more confident in giving the heat friendly ones a try. Also can you use regular hairspray on a synthetic wig?
I wish I had known to buy ONLY mono tops & mono parts instead of basic caps that looked like birds nests on the part. I could have saved myself a bunch of money
I love Upstage in ss biscuit, Belletress Intelligentsia is very similar as well, I have it in three shades, I will link my review here czcams.com/video/AWrHZLfPVhg/video.html
What is the best way to store your wig? In the original box, on a wig stand? I had a long layered wig once and stored it flat. It ended up with permanent kinks in the ends. I know I didn’t store it properly. If on a wig stand do you cover it to protect it? Thank you!
Hi Geri, I use steam on my wigs for a variety of reasons, to train it from falling into my face, control fly aways, smooth HD fibers, steam is a great tool for wigs. Have a good weekend!
@@Crazywiglady i just bought Alva from Noriko. So it seems a bit “big”…hair that is…wondered if steaming will also help to conform more to my head..which is smaller.
I love the way all of you wig reviewers are so supportive of each other.
Like you say "we're all in this together"
