So helpful to see your shaved hair line in the back! That’s where all the hair I have left is and I noticed my hairline sticking out below the wig. Right now I only have long wigs so I didn’t figure it really mattered but it will if I go shorter. You look great in simmer!!! I gotta get up the nerve to try that color I’ve eyed it for so long

I was hospitalized with Covid Pneumonia in May of this year. August I started losing my long thick beautiful hair. I have less than my toddler granddaughter! Telogen Effluvium 😭 so I have a LONG road to regrow my mane. Until then, I am very interested in purchasing a few wigs.

Wow, did you ever get lucky catching her on sale!!! I wish I saw it before you, lol! I love her, too, I have her in shaded hazelnut. You & I can wear the same colors, so I may wait till summer to get her in your color when I am tanned and not winter white! But it is a little heavy and mine is much curlier than yours....I have loosened the curls some. I also just curl them with an iron to smooth out ends and the waves just bounce back in!!!! Looks amazing on you, as do they all!!! LOVE your reviews!!!

Anyway, I have Jon Renau Easipart toppers that I sometimes wear and have been slowly adding in a few wigs even though I have not really begun wearing them yet, I am going to. I currently have Belle Tress Kushikamana and Jon Renau Gisele on order. I already own Jon Renau Mila and Belle Tress Nitro.
Great information also on how you put your wigs on and how you secure them. I do have some bio hair but pretty bad receding hairline and fine wimpy hair. I was debating on whether I should shave my neck because when I put my hair up some of that sticks out and it doesn’t blend with the wig really well. Thanks for all you do, I love your videos!
my hair is so fine that if I don't glue down the cap/and or wig grip it just slips right off. That's the only way I can get the wig to stay on. It's really upsetting. Thank you for the tutorial!
I know honey...I am the same. My wigs slip back as soon as put them on...with wig grip, with wig fix, without. So now I glue the lacefront on my forehead. It's been working. Today I even went out without the wig grip. It's more comfortable! 😘😘😘
Lovely lovely simmer and the color is a wow. All good hints but its the same thing with me. The cap slides right off and the whole caboodle ends up on top of my head! So now, I use the wig grip and have sewn combs in my wig above the ear tabs and then hook the combs (unsnapped) to the wig grip and it holds it on. I am looking for softer pliable combs to use instead of the hard metal wig combs.
Julie, if I remember correctly, you felt that Drew was high density and there was another one that I can't remember. Simmer is not low density as some of the Belle Tress. There's a lot of hair on this girl for some one that prefers very low density. I find it on the lower side of medium density but I'm pretty used to wearing wigs. xoxo

Is there a belle tress or RW version of this wig which is shorter by a couple inches? The shorter ones I’ve found are usually curlier and bigger hair. I want shattered beach curls and not a lot of volume, just done at roots
Hi Tina, thanks for visiting! Yes, Unfiltered by RW and Vienna Roast and Amaretto are shorter than Simmer. I have a video on the Wigstudio1 YT Channel where I show 7 BT styles; I start with the shortest one I have (Joe) and go to Kushikamana (20"), but in that video I show Vienna Roast and Amaretto. I think Vienna Roast has a bit more volume and the curls are tighter. In Amaretto, you'll get beach waves and not a lot of volume. I hope this helps xoxo Marlene
How does Simmer compare to BT Cliente? I have had my eye on Simmer as well, but I am lost with color in RW. I wonder if you know a comparable color in RW that is similar to BT Champagne with Apple Pie?
Hi Cheryl, Caliente and Simmer are similar in curl pattern. The most noticeable difference I see is that Caliente is just a bit shorter and has a side part instead of the full mono top found in Simmer. I don't have Champagne with Apple Pie, but I believe that Pale Gold Wheat is similar. You may consider going to the Wigstudio1 website then the Live Chat. The consultants have color rings, and they'll be able to help you. There's no obligation at all. They're there just to help and answer questions. xoxo
Hi, thank you so much for visiting! No, I didn't straighten it at all. Manufacturers allow 10-15% variance in curl pattern. I have another one that has much more curl to it. If you want to relax your curls, no need to wash first. Spray the wig with some water, run a wide tooth comb through it, then set the wig on a wig stand for a couple of days to allow the curls to be weighed down. When you place the wig on the stand, clip the hair back, add a bit of hair spray and leave the clip in to train the fibers off the face. This is just a temporary fix. For a permanent fix to keep the fibers off the face, it'll have to be steamed. xoxo Marlene

Hi Beautiful, I truly apologize for the late response. I had surgery two weeks ago and have been recuperating. I am no longer an employee of Wigstudio1, but I can answer your question. They want to be able to make certain the members coming in are true people and not stalkers, hackers, scammers, or trolls. They do this for the safety of the members. With a group that large, they have to take precautions. When I was still working there, I'd ask members to open their page for a few minutes just so I can make certain they were real people, approve them, and let them know to close their page once again. my hair is so fine that if I don't glue down the cap/and or wig grip it just slips right off. That's the only way I can get the wig to stay on. It's really upsetting. Thank you for the tutorial!
I know honey...I am the same. My wigs slip back as soon as put them on...with wig grip, with wig fix, without. So now I glue the lacefront on my forehead. It's been working. Today I even went out without the wig grip. It's more comfortable! 😘😘😘
Lovely lovely simmer and the color is a wow. All good hints but its the same thing with me. The cap slides right off and the whole caboodle ends up on top of my head! So now, I use the wig grip and have sewn combs in my wig above the ear tabs and then hook the combs (unsnapped) to the wig grip and it holds it on. I am looking for softer pliable combs to use instead of the hard metal wig combs.

Julie, if I remember correctly, you felt that Drew was high density and there was another one that I can't remember. Simmer is not low density as some of the Belle Tress. There's a lot of hair on this girl for some one that prefers very low density. I find it on the lower side of medium density but I'm pretty used to wearing wigs. xoxo

Is there a belle tress or RW version of this wig which is shorter by a couple inches? The shorter ones I’ve found are usually curlier and bigger hair. I want shattered beach curls and not a lot of volume, just done at roots
Hi Tina, thanks for visiting! Yes, Unfiltered by RW and Vienna Roast and Amaretto are shorter than Simmer. I have a video on the Wigstudio1 YT Channel where I show 7 BT styles; I start with the shortest one I have (Joe) and go to Kushikamana (20"), but in that video I show Vienna Roast and Amaretto. I think Vienna Roast has a bit more volume and the curls are tighter. In Amaretto, you'll get beach waves and not a lot of volume. I hope this helps xoxo Marlene

How does Simmer compare to BT Cliente? I have had my eye on Simmer as well, but I am lost with color in RW. I wonder if you know a comparable color in RW that is similar to BT Champagne with Apple Pie?
Hi Cheryl, Caliente and Simmer are similar in curl pattern. The most noticeable difference I see is that Caliente is just a bit shorter and has a side part instead of the full mono top found in Simmer. I don't have Champagne with Apple Pie, but I believe that Pale Gold Wheat is similar. You may consider going to the Wigstudio1 website then the Live Chat. Did you straighten it a bit? Mine is a little curly and mine goes in my face too much but maybe will change after my first wash?
Hi, thank you so much for visiting! No, I didn't straighten it at all. Manufacturers allow 10-15% variance in curl pattern. I have another one that has much more curl to it. If you want to relax your curls, no need to wash first. Spray the wig with some water, run a wide tooth comb through it, then set the wig on a wig stand for a couple of days to allow the curls to be weighed down. When you place the wig on the stand, clip the hair back, add a bit of hair spray and leave the clip in to train the fibers off the face. This is just a temporary fix. For a permanent fix to keep the fibers off the face, it'll have to be steamed. xoxo Marlene

Hi Beautiful, I truly apologize for the late response. I had surgery two weeks ago and have been recuperating. I am no longer an employee of Wigstudio1, but I can answer your question. They want to be able to make certain the members coming in are true people and not stalkers, hackers, scammers, or trolls. They do this for the safety of the members. With a group that large, they have to take precautions. When I was still working there, I'd ask members to open their page for a few minutes just so I can make certain they were real people, approve them, and let them know to close their page once again. However, since I'm no longer part of the group, I'm not certain how they are moving forward with member requests. xoxo Marlene.
