Is it necessarily to have passport with you? i have belgian citizenship and I'm carrying my national id with me which is valid European counties?

Yes, meron din pero di masyadong problem kasi nakaka-intindi and speak naman sila ng English and sanay sila sa tourists :) But it helps to know basic French phrases to start the convo. :D
