- This video is all about what we got our kids for Christmas for 2022. I love these types of videos each year because I get so many great ideas from them that I may not have thought of. I know this is coming out just a week before Christmas but it's got some great gift ideas for teens to toddlers. We have an 18 year old, a four year old, and a two year old. I'll go through their presents and stockings in case you are looking for some last minute ideas for Christmas this year.

I have never watched your channel before today. But I'm glad I did I do not have a child that uses a pacifier but I think that your idea of sending all of the pacifiers to Santa and then getting that one toy they really want from Santa and exchange for the pacifiers is a brilliant idea and I'm going to share it with my friends that is brilliant I have no other words for it lol

@Suzanne's Semi-Charmed Life I wouldn't be embarrassed after all there's full grown men out here that should have a pacifier 🤣🤣 besides I would be more concerned with her teeth than anything else sometimes kids just take longer to learn how to self-regulate South soothe and calm and that's what the pacifier does for them a lot of the times I wouldn't be too worried I think the Santa Claus think most do the trick for you

Haha no joke she will seriously watch and peek! She’s a present-shaker for sure. 😉😄 I told her I’d leave her stuff off the video and do the little kids if I thought it would ruin it for her. But she promised she wouldn’t watch. We shall see haha 😂
I an glad to actually see a family that has not going crazy with Christmas. We do 3 under the tree, I big thing from St. Nick. Pjs and a stocking
This approach works so well for us too. We have grandparents who love gifting so we love keeping it simple at home and I have noticed now that the things that are opened on Christmas actually get played with throughout the year.

I had to drop a comment of my own enormous childhood bear when I saw the one you got.
I'm 36 and my enormous bear I got for Xmas at 3 years old is still with me. He's just under 3 feet tall and a panda. I have no idea how they found a panda instead of a regular teddy looking bear back then before internet and whatnot were a thing.
But I remember getting him. He was sitting in a child size rocking chair - which I also still have - and I remember screaming so loud and jumping up and down and being so excited I didn't know what to do... so I ran circles around him for forever.
I named him monster bear because he was the size of a monster (I very adamant apparently) and he was almost taller than I was at the time. He broke through my chronic nightmares for the time when nothing else was. I was crying about not wanting to go to sleep be a the bad dreams would get me again, and my mom was exhausted and tired of the fight every night. So she impulsively suggested putting monster bear on my feet while I slept, because in my bad dreams things were trying to eat my toes. And that way he could keep my toes safe. And I reluctantly agreed to try it.
The first night he showed up in my dream the size of a real monster. Just towering over everything. And when the toes biting things showed up ge roared at them and ran them off. I woke up, and felt the weight of him on my feet and was so excited that he'd protected me. He slept on my feet every night for YEARS after that.
He went with me to college and sat on the foot of my bed. He went with me when I moved in with my first serious boyfriend and sat in the corner by the closet for years. I'd wake up and get out of bed and he'd be sitting there waiting for me. My current relationship he's still with me. The nightmare part stopped being necessary decades ago, but he still means so much to me. I've loved him and layer on him, and read to him, and anxiously paced by the dryer for him for decades. Now he's an old friend that reminds me of happy things in my life and my 3 y old also loves him. He's not very soft anymore and his stuffing is a bit flatter, and part of his fur on his back is hard and brown (burned) from me trying to dry him with the iron one day as a kid because he wasn't drying fast enough. It doesn't matter. He's going with me.
I know not every kid gets that attached to any toy, but I get so excited when I hear about another kid wanting a giant stuffed animal because I remember that first morning with him and how I couldn't even believe he was real and he was somehow mine.
I hope your child is over the moon with joy when they see their bear. 😊🥰
This is such a special story. Thank you so much for sharing it! Lucy has fallen in love with her bear (bear bear is his name haha) and he has slept in her bed each night. I am hoping he is something that she treasures and remembers long after this past Christmas 🥰
This was such a good video to watch to gear up for my little guy this year. I'm not really into the surprise gifts either as in the surprise LOLs etc.

Those hand kites are so cute and the planes! I'll tuck those ideas away for our trip to the cottage this summer, it's nice to have a few small toys to bring out on tired afternoons :)
They have been a hit so far! The girls have loved playing with the kites and Lucy’s enjoyed the airplanes. They don’t last too long haha. But worth it for the bit of fun they provide 🥰
Just wanted to share. I got 4ft bear for my son for his birthday and I had to get extra filling. Once you open it you have to give it some time to expand….after letting it expand for 2 days I still had to add more filler. Thank you for some Christmas ideas as well. Loved the crystals! 💕
Agreed! I would definitely open it a couple of days before and see what you’re working with. If you have a clothes steamer you can try that for getting stubborn wrinkles out too 😊
