Kids love them and they don't break so you can resell them .Plastic toys are being sold for max 5 bucks so its not just aesthics

So people who care about the environment are only doing it for the aesthetic? I understand that some people can't afford more than the flashy plastic toys and that their really just trying their best for their kids so I try not to judge. However your clearly judging other parents who are also just trying their best for their kids by buying quality toys that last a long time and their kids can use in lots of ways without the flashy noisy distractions. That have no were near as much of a negative impact on the world. so, no it's not about the aesthetic, sure for some it might be. That's the same for lots of things. but for the majority of parents that's just not the reason.

That leap frog 100 Words audio book is awesome! For Christmas, I bought that one and the 100 Animals audio book for my nephew who turned 1 in October. Like she said it does English and Spanish, it also has modes that does fun facts on the animals/object and one where it does the animals sounds.

I got my daughter that leap frog 100 words book for her 1st birthday and she will be 2 on December 19th and she STILL loves it and plays with it every day. And I feel like it has really helped her vocabulary. Definitely worth the $15 I spent.

I am so glad Iâm not the only one that doesnât hate the obnoxious toys! I have Montessori toys too but my son has really learned a lot from the toys that make sounds. Also kudos to you for having it done already! Thatâs awesome! I also have to get that bilingual toy! Husbands family speaks Spanish so itâll help me learn to đ
I was adamant about only open ended toys blah blah but my 17 month old LOVES the bright plastic ones. And you know what? Itâs not that serious. Lol toys are meant to be played with and if the toddler loves it, thatâs fine to have both. She has maybe 3 of the noisy type and at her play dates every week she plays a ton with the loud alphabet type toys.

My son birthday is Christmas Eve so I know how you feel about buying gifts all at once. Great video. Look into Kidkraft dollhouses. They are large enough to fit Barbie size dolls and are made of wood! I highly recommend. I bought one of the unisex versions for my 3 yr old son. We got the So Stylish Mansion dollhouse.
My son is 2 1/2 and he had most of the toys that you showed for Jackson and he loved them. I'm sure Jackson will do too â€

I too, got my daughter the princess night gown from target. For christmas! I had to grab it as soon as I seen it. I also got my daughter a stocking, and some stuff to put in the stocking. And then I got her one of those Disney Princess baby dolls. It is simply adorable & is the Cinderella one. I have more to get for sure, but that is what I have for getting started. Last year, I got my daughter that $64 pack of all the Disney Princess barbies so she does have that. She is really venturing into frozen & Moana now lol. I thought of getting her a small purse, as a first & then a fake lip stick with a little mirror to put in it. Not a crazy huge make up set though just cause she enjoys seeing me put my lip stick on & doesnât get any of the other make related stuff.

They have a Peppa Christmas scene on Amazon for the Peppa house. Also, Riley would love the dinosaur eggs that you soften and âdigâ for the dinosaur inside. We got a ton of mileage out of those toys! I have little boy turning one dec 27th and I got him that plane too. I got him a mix of wooden toys and plastic noise making toys. Iâm curious to see which ones he favors.
One thing about those scribble scrubbie toys is that there is an interactive app that I have for my daughter on my phone for her that she LOVES. and there are pets on there that she can color and wash and play with. And you can even take your scribble scrubbie pets that you have at home and scan them and add them to the app.

Oh goodness same here girl birthday right before Christmas! My daughter will be 3 on the 22nd of December this year and she is obsessed with Peppa pig too lol thank you I love these gift ideas .
My sonâs Bday is December 14th. Since itâs so close to Christmas we have asked family members to buy him something small and either get him a gift card that he can use later (heâs going to be 11 now but we have been doing this since he was born) or buy him a gift card to something he can do like Coldstone, a local painting pottery place, local kids places... and then from us he gets one larger toy (or game now lol) and then we go to Santa Barbara for his birthday. We go to the zoo, museum, botanical gardens... and so on. Sometimes the best gift we can give them is our time and making great memories! Plus itâs less clutter in the house!

How are you disinfecting them ? Boxed items and unboxed items. Are you wiping the ones which are already packed in the box also ? Like those dolls or peppa pig house. I am not sure how to disinfect togs for my kids. I was thinking to buy only toys which comes in boxes

I know your question wasn't directed to the commenters but I do have a few ideas. Clothes, shoes, pajamas, house shoes, a potty (if he doesn't have one), big boy underwear(for when you start training), a bathrobe, new washcloths and bath towels. I hope this helpsđ

Babies don't really need toys until about 3-4 months. Some high contrast books or cards, plastic keys on a ring, rattle? My son is 11 weeks and starting to hold things like rattles
