-For desert environments, be sure to carry at least 1L of water per hour of vigorous activity, time your activities to limit exposure during peak heat of day.
-No reliable sources of water or shade on this portion of Big Bend National Park.
-Do not attempt this trail in the summer months.
-Leave no trace and adhere to NPS backcountry regulations.
