Watching the final fight, I've noticed that Galeem and Dharkon will hurt each other with their attacks (and when you get a stun on one, the other will use a strong attack on their rival). What if you just dodged attacks and let the bosses do the work for you (until one dies, then you have to finish the other yourself)? That might be a neat challenge.
I did a no skill tree run and I used olimar against both dharkon battles and fox for both galeem fights. the true ending I used palutena (no character swapping) , metaknight (was a pretty bad choice) and olimar.
I remember giga bowser took me forever to do, I used falcon and created an attack pattern but even still it must've been at least 6 hours of trials in the end. This video should be pretty helpful, still doing this on my own, and just got stuck at rathalos. Good stuff on doing the whole thing btw, I can't even imagine how long it must've took.
giga bowser I used marth. on the first run he gave me about as much trouble as galleom. overall, he was not that bad. Dracula was a nightmare for me on the first run where I had to use the skill tree because I had no idea you could reflect his projectiles in his second form. had I known you could grab the spiked balls from master hand, he would have given me a lot less trouble. crazy hand might be a little easier despite his rng based black hole.
About damn time I finally find a Galeem fight that long! I can't express how impossible it is, no matter the game or boss, to find a video that goes a long enough time, preferably for it's song loop, shows literally everything he or she does, and make it actually *_feel_* like a "fight". I tried a no spirits run of the final Galeem fight (with most of the skill tree), and it's really hard. A strong hit from Galeem's blue orbs deals 30%, and not avoiding the rings of light is fatal, but surviving a hit leaves you one bad move away from failure. You can't take any hits. I might try it again with a weak spirit so I can get some stat increases for the fight.

The thumbnail when Galeem does that move looks like the all seeing eye of the Illuminati. And since Lucifer is a seraphim which is an angel with an eye and a bunch of wings then we are basically fighting Lucifer.
not exactly because he defeated galeem and dharkon solo. now the true ending final boss is harder not to lose a stock, but the three stock make the battle easier in comparison to the solo rematches. solo dharkon rematch has a lot of rng. it took m2k 4 hours to kill dharkon solo and he was using the skill tree.
@@scorpionsapprentice3248 the person in the video did ALL bosses except the final forms of dharkon and galeem solo with no spirits AND NO SKILL TREE on hard. This alone trumps M2K, secondly the person didnt lose any stocks or get hit on ANY BOSS
@@aspreedacore he lost stock on the very final battle. still, it is not every boss when galeem and dharkon second fights are omitted and dharkon 2 is much harder than the true ending because of one stock.

I wonder if it's possible to gauge the attack power of these bosses during their respective WoL fights. I'd treat the battles in Classic mode as them having a power level of 0 like the fighters themselves.
If u have the mods, play as Giga Bowser and fight the bosses in hard mode. But since Giga Bowser is slow and his large size can make him receive more damage, u are gonna have a hard time beating these bosses as Giga Bowser. Good luck beating these bosses as Giga Bowser in hard mode.
I saw those clips that demonstrate what some of the fights come to. For most of the spirits with giant fighters, it’s actually possible to fair loop them off stage and kill them with kirby
@@hAze_the_shrimp also learning the boss patterns (when they apply). the worst designed bosses are galeem and dharkon solo rematches. both are heavily reliant on the rng when they turn red. dharkon is surprisingly not as bad if you use olimar, but galeem is worse because of his lens flare. also it is more difficult to safely dodge the puppet fighters.
Does this have the individual second fights vs Galeem and vs Dharkon? The bad ending fight between Galeem almost seems harder than the real final battle. Second battle with Dharkon was fairly easy though.
I found dharkon 2 to be much harder than galeem 2 without using spirits. the second battle against galeem however was also much quicker. ironically, I found dharkon 2 easier than galeem in lower level difficulties and galeem normal mode was easier than easy mode because the off waves are simultaneous in the latter. both battles are more difficult than the true ending battle, however, the latter is much harder without losing a stock.
no solo galeem and dharkon 2? those fights are more difficult than the dual boss because one stock (although galeem solo might be as hard as the true final battle).
how are you switching your characters between sections in the final fight? in the scrolling sequence you have lucina, chrom, and robin? then in the boss rush you have fox, wolf, lucina, and in the dual battle you have lucina, marth, jiggs
You did the whole Adventure mode like this? Any pointers for the Whispy Woods spirit in the Dark Realm? I’m doing no spirits and no skill tree, and at the time of writing this, I’m stuck on that one
Chrom. Go the far right, up B, let the wind push you away (should push you enough that you grab the ledge), go back on stage, repeat til they all die. It'll probably take a while though
I tried that, but Chrom’s air speed isn’t strong enough to help him survive flying off to the right of the stage; he’s always just short of reaching the edge. As you can see, I’m at a loss.
i did it with kirby on the left side. It took a decent amount of tries but you can up b spike in to footstool to kill them, and at times they get stuck under the platform and suicide.
An interesting method, actually; I’d use it, though I’m afraid you’re a bit late, as I managed to beat it with DK (using Cargo Up Throw to drag them under the stage and kill them at 0 this way) Still appreciate the tips, though!

going no deaths on the true ending is nearly impossible. there is a ton of rng. palutena can take down all bosses, but the biggest obstacles are marx and Dracula because they have the worst rng. ganon can be annoying, but his moves are well telegraphed for the most part. then you have the final battle, which has some really bad rng coming from galeem's off waves and dharkon's rip and X bombs.
i came close to 0 damage against galleom had he not grabbed me in the end. of all attacks to hit me when I defeated galeem on my spirit-less NG+ run with no skills was hit drill. I also took some blast zone damage because I was using fox while ledge camping to dodge his electro orbs.

dharkon 2 took me many days to defeat. galeem was much quicker. both have really bad rng, but the latter is much faster battle and it all depends when he uses the off waves and if puppet fighters appear or not. dharkon being a slower battle means more opportunity for him to rng screw you with an X rip combo or puppet fighters with X bombs.

I tried that. They can't kill each other. You still have to land the final hit on each.

I used olimar for both dharkon battles and fox for both galeem battles when not using the skill tree. also no pausing required either.
You can attack Ganon's head when he is stunned for extra damage.

When you die during the final battle, it restarts you at the same section but you're able to switch characters.

Late to the party here, but Giga Bowser for whatever reason seems to always go for fire breath every second attack if you're far enough away from him

In Melee, Pichu was one of the worst characters in the game, but in Ultimate, Pichu is actually incredibly surprisingly good.
