Welcome to Bisbone Ranch! We are Mark and Heather, a couple of nomads on a quest to find purpose and growth. We gave up city life in 2023, sold our home and purchased 40 acres of raw land in Southern Arizona. Join us as we build an off grid, self sufficient homestead out of raw mountain land! All the while staying focused on what is important to us; living in harmony with nature, community, family, learning new skills along the way through hands on, hard work and doing it all debt free!

Freedom means EXACTLY what you are doing, I have been dreaming about that my whole life, I am around 60, our kids are old enough and as we are done with the so called hard part of growing a family now i start again having this crazy dreams to solitude in the desert, you are doing the right thing NOW while still young before family with kids gets in the way, now do not get me wrong, kids are always a blessing but things like this takes a second place when you are raising them, unless of course we are rich, LOL. Good job!
It's great to see fellow Arizonans out here living off the grid and the land. That is my goal. I haven't decided on the living space just watched your video on how you build your dome House really nice seems super easy to do. Looking forward to the follow-up video with the breakdown on the cost and the additions that you're adding to it.

115 degrees where your at for a couple of months
Currently 58 degree here. Doesn’t get that hot around these parts. 100 is the high during summer.
