After releasing this video R2Teck just notified me that they have decided to drop the price of their wireless video system to $695! Competition in a free market is a great thing 👍

Great!
Tom Antos could you help me out In have a client looking for pro wireless transmitters up to 200 meters. Thank you
Now $499
Another great video Tom! Keep up the great work!
Great review. Maybe a real-time linked video in split screen to demonstrate latency.
thanks man! Not many vids like this on wireless systems!
Hello Tom I always watch your videos, they are always informative. I recently rewatched this video and was wondering if you have any information CINEGEARS Ghost-Eye 150M
Will You review sony fs5ii? I would love to see that and some comparisions with for example a6500 :)
Hi Tom. Nice video We want to buy these kind of gear but need more distance than the ones you were getting from the first two reviews. Do you recall how much power you used ? Thank you
Thank you for all your videos, Tom. They’re really helpful. However, this video makes me wonder. You say that you would not recommend the came-tv and the other cheap device for focus pulling, but at the same time in another video titled ”DIY Wireless Video System” you suggest that the diy solution you came up with there can be used for focus pulling. Do you mean that your diy solution performed better than the came-tv device in this video?
So what we've learned here is that all these systems use the same frequencies that are free to use. these frequencies have max transmission power limitations in the regulations. So whilst all these systems have differences, they are all ultimately limited by the same ceiling on transmission power! Better antennas will help a lot. Also they are all affected by locations with lots of WiFi activity as they all use the same 2.4 and 5.8 bands for transmission. hahah, a nearby leaky microwave oven will kill them all too! (I found that out the hard way...!). Nice video Tom!
Tom, I use the Nyrius Aries Pro. It only has a 100 ft range, but for most of my location shoots it's just fine for a director who wants to see how a take looks, but also wants to remain close to the actors. It's only $250. Caleb Pike over at DSLR Video Shooter did a build with it a couple of years ago.
I was one of the first to use the Nyrius Aries Pro for a DIY system... so I know what you mean. They're not as reliable and fast to setup as a dedicated wireless video system. Here is my OLD video about that DIY system czcams.com/video/Cc6ijYBmRs4/video.html
I think the best for DSLR is the Paralinx dart. super small and lightweight.
Any cheaper options without lag for pulling focus?
Just a kindly reminder it looks like the "Wi-Fi/mobile antennas" were hooked up on the CAME-TV transmitter unit (at 7:58). I think this antennas should go with the receiver unit.
What about the teradek wireless system ?
Can u give a brief.
Thank you
brahim ahmad Teradek is the King. It’s what the other units are trying to be. Teradek are more pricey that’s all.
to give service to a couple of transmitters the signal no longer reaches me well?
How is the fan noise on the cinegears? I tested their other 600M model and it was super loud.
I recently got the cinegears 600m. Tested it and the fan don't sound loud to me. I have even used the on a live show everything was good.
how about CVW links?
too bad, you did not test the amimom connex system (about 1500usd)
what about vaxis thor 600?
I would of loved to have seen this included as well? - SEETEC 1080P 150m SDI/ HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System
Just incase - www.aliexpress.com/i/32949323385.html?spm=2114.12057483.0.0.2a0d6387u9fZgx This looks like it uses full HDMI as well as SDI? So it would be a good thing to review as an in-between model of the ones shown?
Hello Tom do you know where I can repair my cinegear 600mp it has noise and they don't give the distance :(
Try contacting the manufacturer first and ask
How can I get this smitter
Wow. Cam TV seems better then the TeraDeck. Thanks.
Not really. Delay, compression, bad colour, mini hdmi only.
I do like that it has wifi connection built in but out of all of these, I'd still go for a second hand teradek
How much I need one which is cheaper
can i control camera with this transmitters? like can i change the settings of camera?
no
All I want is a ultra low latency (sub 30ms) 4K wireless video streamer suitable for use on a drone and with at least 2KM range. I can't find one anywhere....
what about ikan ?
Try moving the Tx (camera) with a car or cable cam. Then you will see what pro gear (COFDM) does
Hi why not test teradek?
Too expensive
teradek.com/collections/bolt-lt Its aktually cheaper 1990$(SDI-Version) than the Cinegears and more popular in industry. Would love to see a side to side comparison
@@KingAbaJackson thanks. I was looking at a different model I guess and the price was close to $10k. I will try to get my hands on the teradek bolt then. Thnx!
I did. Check out my video where I compare the teradek and Hollyland systems
Why did you burn your 1AC. Damn cold blooded.
Hi, Tom... I HATE the micro-hdmi ports AND connectors!!! Maybe you could tell Sony to drop it from their cameras? (I use Sony's). More, a few micro to HDMI cable work! I had to test a dozen!!
I HATE micro-hdmi
I HATE micro-hdmi
I HATE micro-hdmi
:O)
16:28, no signal? No kidding, look where your antennas are pointing
Why no teradek?
Too expensive
teradek is $2500 dollars.. cheaper than ur other two options
@@neilquadras the cheaper version yes. Not the same with the long range
They have a Bolt 500 that is $1500 for HDMI only
teradek.com/collections/bolt-lt SDI Version $1990
I've been obsessed with quad copters the past 2 weeks. I'd like to take remote video of a field on my place about 1000 feet away. Your "cheap" video systems are 10 times the cost on those quad copters. Good channel, just too rich for my blood.
dshreve34 because these transmitter systems are designed to transmit uncompressed video and audio signal for monitor purpose. Quadcopter are different.
quadcopters don't require uncompressed audio and video at 4:2:2 color space so those systems are designed just too look good to the naked eye and have max range.
Clearly didnt demonstrate the delay on the first two units.
This video needs an updated version.
Meridian Boxx
Zero Delay HD Wireless Link
The one I have spotted to buy from eBay..... 8 Euro... Not ideal of course and the monitor cost 12 Euro second hand...
As you can see . . . as you can see . . .
None of the products are made to work thru buildings. They are built for LOS
don't buy R2Teck product. this is worst rubbish product. i have bought it and use it. the resolution has been down. i connect my laptop to tv use this product. but the image not so clear. like have some distorsion. very very disappointed. not same like what the sales marketer said. mine are R2Teck DVLM100.
Cametv crystal 800 really suck, dont buy it. wasting ur money
why ?
