Great tutorial and also speed paint but I have questions. In 2:28 how did you do that? The shadows and highlights without going outside the drawing? Di you use clipping groups or other things? How did you used Blender Basic so well? How are you so good using krita? Pls more tutorials either speed paints or krita tutorials. I tried zooming In and I couldn't find out what you did. Other than that I love these tutorials of yours and I'm gonna watch more. I sub :)

I would like to illustrate a children's picture book but I'm a little confused on how to start. Lets say the book will be 8x10 inches. Can I make my page on photoshop that exact size? (or slightly bigger) I don't want it to affect the quality
You can select the resolution in inch format, and set dpi 300.

Hello I have a question about the Krita software, I would like to know if it is possible to create a layer for the shadows/lights or for the brush to be able to color without exceeding the line of the drawing
Currently for a shadow/light layer I copy the color layer I want to lighten or darken and I click on the small square to the right of the copied layer to color the area without going beyond. The problem is that if I want to make changes on the color layer, I can't because then you would have to modify the copied shadow/light layer as well and it becomes quite complicated to manage.
So I would like to have a shadow layer where we can select the area to color but separate from the color layer.
Sorry if it's not very understandable, but if anyone knows how to do it I thanks in advance 🙂
Create 3 different layer of base color, lights and shadows and make a layer group and
and for the lights and shadows layer turn on masking by clicking the alpha icon, now you can make changes in each layer without affecting others.
To make a group select the layers and press crtl+g. If i missed anything plz feel free to ask.

The whole left side of krita with the layers and colors are gone in my program. I must have clicked something accidentally. Do you know how to get them back? It's a really important part so I'm very frustrated right now...

Where is the skill in drawing if everything is assisted by computer?
That is why a digital work does not give the same impression as a work without a computer! and I use krita with an xp pen 12 pro

@@DrawWithPallab Obviously you show that you have a developed ability to do this but in my comment I wanted to say that this ability is somewhat different from what is needed for a traditional drawing, in the digital environment the knowledge of the tool can overlap deficiencies in drawing ability traditional. This is not directed at you specifically.
@@desoft8b That is why it is called digital painting not traditional painting. The digital environment is made to use in that way so one can make a digital work with few simple steps. And I think basic knowledge of painting is required for both digital and traditional painting.
