  • I know this isn't my usual kind of content, but this is a really cool knife!
I've never made a knife like this, and it was really hard. It was a lot of work but I really liked doing it and it went surprisingly fast and only took me three days, I was pretty happy.

I haven't tried any knives, but I did my first End-Grain cutting board made of cherry recently, messed up and made it too big for my planer lol, so I cut it in half and sent both pieced through, then built 2 smaller long end grain pieces and then glued them back together to make the full board, ended up 18x18ish, my buddy really liked having an oversized board for his kitchen, still gotta find a better way to do the juice groove

I've made a bunch of knives now and I really like it but it's a lot harder than woodworking. I've seen a lot of ways to make a juice groove, but I've never done one myself, so I don't which ways best, and I haven't made a board in a while either...

Very nice knife and video! I wonder if taking down the flared bolser and handle on the blade side would help with function? It seems like it may get in the way with a pinch grip? I may be totally off base, but i don't normally see that on a chef knife.

It might, too late now of course, but still a good consideration, thanks!
