straight from trackmania ahahah, it would be cool but idk if would actually work, trackmania is a deterministic game, f1 from what i know is not.
on time trial maybe out of many simulations if output is legit and clean copy the results would be many similar runs with maybe one fully matching.
even if it was possible (anyway i don't think so) the problem is that with a larger community they took years to extrapolate inputs from a 2008 game (TMNF) it would be impossible with F1 22

But there's been a lot of... questionable stuff, specially in time trial. Two I can recall seeing people mention lately are him having the TT record at Suzuka by *a few tenths* even though the setups were identical to the person in 2nd place and there were corners in which his speeds were a lot faster than usual. The other one is him being ahead of a literal grip hacker (since the way they advertise is putting themeselves on top of the leaderboards). All in all, there's a lot of reasons to think why he might or might not be cheating, but only a check on his PC or a LAN tournament would put an end to this.

Even if we cant have a grip meter or something like that if you would analyse the diffirences. Surely you would fine that something doest add up. This is ofcourse the tracmania approche but it worked on that game why not try it out. For example if someone goes 10mph faster in a corner you would immidietly see the diffirence in exit position( that is if the exact same buttons have been pressed). Idk they should just be more on top of this especialy in psgl and f1 esporsts

In trackmania it works because the raw input are already stored into the replay file, in f1 there's no such thing, sure you have the telemetry but it wouldn't be as easy as the replay file.

I´m not sure if the PSGL has the budget for my idea on how to 99% control online cheating, but I am 100% sure F1 E-Sports Teams have that budget.
So let me explain it to you:
Every driver gets an remote controlled PC on same specs, with no ON button, pre installed game and also the communication software the driver is using to communicate with his team during the race. Future updates could be done via remote control.
They also get a new rig. The monitors, seat and headset is free to choose by the driver. Wheel, base, pedals are standardized (all same).
The controls are directly connected with the pc and locked so that they can´t be disconnected without damaging the pc.
So now the F1 E-Sports directive only has an access to the pc and can check the whole on/off log, if any other device tried to connect with the pc, if anything shady is going on with the pc. Controls can´t be manipulated and every testing session has to be video recorded with the view on the whole rig.
Training times are all at the same time and they also have to be video recorded.
If you can´t trust them, then you got to control them!
Do you guys think this would help to keep the field even?

@@SiiiiUuUuUuuuuUuuuU9999 No thats ludicrous, if you take a real F1 driver and you put them in a GT car or something similar they will be FAST. You can't sit here and say that having skills in what is argueably the most difficult form of racing, F1 - and then say it doesn't translate to other series of driving... just goes to show you don't know anything at all.

@@sankaplays3098 You are talking about F1 22 like it is an actual sim and comparing real drivers to esport drivers. The physics in both games are wildly different and being good in F1 on F1 22 does not mean you are also a god on acc. I have known plenty of people who were top 500 on the leaderboards and were mediocre at acc.

That's the most upset I've seen Jarno, ever, he also seems to be such a chilled guy. Ronhaar now has to prove he's not a cheater, which I doubt he can do, he has the whole F1 esports grid accusing him of cheating and there's so much evidence stacked against him

    • @Atlas.Brooklyn
      @Atlas.Brooklyn Před rokem +11

No Ronhaar doesn't have to prove he's not cheating, we the suspicious have to prove he is. He is still innocent until proven guilty, not assumed guilty til he proves his innocence.
Edit: and before anyone says anything, I do think he cheats. I also recognize the undeniable right to innocence until proven guilty.
