Having initially intended to be a professional boxer, Ngannou converted to MMA under Fernand Lopez of the MMA Factory, before moving to Xtreme Couture under Eric Nicksick. Known for his powerful punches, Ngannou works behind a good jab, which he uses to set up his big shots. The former UFC Heavyweight champion, Ngannou is currently scheduled to fight Tyson Fury in a professional boxing match.
