- David dives into the evolution of the iconic Mario Underground Theme by Koji Kondo, highlighting the most interesting additions (or subtractions) and explaining the music theory behind them. It's truly amazing how much a single melody can influence video game music forever!
We'll start with the original Super Mario Bros underground theme, and work our way through the past, all the way to the current Super Mario Wonder soundtrack... a lot has changed, but a lot has stayed the same. This video should be a fun journey. I promise that musicians and non-musicians alike will learn something!

I have liked all your music theory videos. I can only wish that my music courses in high school could've covered this topic in the depth that you have. What you have here is a serious teaching resource. Who knows how many Mario Brothers players are themselves musically trained? Such folks would have tons of fun with this video. It's all above my head...but I CAN'T look away. Aloha.
I admire your technical knowledge of music, unfortunately, it is not something I have an interest in. This is content is too different from your normal content and would be better suited on its on CZcams Channel. Hey! I so appreciate you guys. I enjoy the games but stay concerned about all the legal jargon we should read before agreeing to! Many times I force myself to read through it, sometimes I do not. Could you guys PLEASE go over those just in general and maybe tell us what we shouldn’t accept???? 🙏

For me, a guitar player, I'd approach it more like 6/8 time as opposed to 3/4. It would be the only thing that would get me through bar 6. Even if it were scored in 3/4, as it appears to be, I'd still be tapping my foot and counting to 1/8th notes. YMMV as it is 100% a feel thing.

PLEASE HELP: i’m on iphone 13 ios 17 and when i facetime it says camera being used my facetime and microphone being used by phone. it usually says facetime being used by camera and microphone
it also says when i do a normal l that facetime is using my microphone but im not using facetime im using normal call
