Excellant demo.you get to watch the process, the construction of the head with the planal changes.its all there no need for the artist to speak.the language is clear.thats why its called visual art.beautifully done work.
Wow, watching your drawing early in made me notice how the bottom eyelid arch makes the expression on her face look so different. Those little things that make such a difference.
Terrific format! I love that the finished piece was to the left and we could watch your progress as it developed. I learned so much! Creative presentation!
I would have preferred being able to see the reference than the completed sketch. Other than that, it was very interesting to see how you work. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning artist and portraits! I'm baffled though about how you can erase with such a clean white line with the blending stump. How is that possible :) A new follower and a "favorite" on IG. Best regards, Steve
Everyone had their own way of finding the form. I would have preferred it be less scratchy in the sound. Wonderful demo. What I find really interesting is the artist never erased. Or blurred until he started finishing the nose. I would like to what know the charcoal and paper he is using.
Is it possible to take a not quite ideal portrait photo reference and add interesting shadow lines to create a more interesting reference, either with software tools or your imagination? Or perhaps with AI these days?
@@kisoochai I have a portrait photo that I want to make a charcoal sketch of but it’s not ideal in terms of lighting. Ideally it would have more contrast and better or more interesting shadow patterns. Just wondering if it’s possible to use software eg photoshop or imagination to add shadow details to improve the overall composition?
hello.... nice to meet you, I'm from Indonesia. I like and really enjoy following all your videos, my friend... I want to have knowledge like you, friend... I love your channel, my friend... please guide me so I can work like you, my brother...
It seems difficult to teach something online. There is no quick or easy way. Repetition and constant practice are the best methods. There are many videos from better artists than me. I think the best way is to practice consistently, step by step, starting from the basics.😅

I would like to what know the charcoal and paper he is using.
Strathmore sketchbook drawing 400 series medium surface 18by24 , Coates willow charcoal, Nitram charcoal, and General’s charcoal pencil.
What kind of charcoal you are using ? Which brand? I love your work very interesting

Thanks but it’s a different moddl😅
Would have liked a list of supplies and paper etc. but otherwise wonderful.❤
If you look under the title, the art materials I use are always listed.😅🤗
@@kisoochai thank you so so much! Using a new iPad that I obviously don't know how to use. 🤪
what is the white tool you are using please?
It’s a paper stump😊

How do you measurement? Right proportion
Anyone can sketch like an apple by practicing iteration.🤔🙂
I’m curious as to why there is no reference photo, just the finished drawing?
If so, watch the video attached reference photo.🤔😅
Very impressive! She looks a bit like Gwyneth Paltrow😊
Thank you🤗 but it just an unknown model😅
Are you damping the paper stump to lift charcoal from the canvas or is that an eraser?
As you said, it is used for two purposes🤔😊
where is the reference for the drawing?
You can search at google ‘unsplash dot com’. All references are there.
Very nice. She Has a Gwyneth Paltrow thing going on.
Thank you but it’s not her😅

No value without the real reference photo.
Then find a video value watching and watch it
@@kisoochai thanks for the love! How fake can you get! don’t love a comment you hate man. Fake
The reference is a drowning not a picture. He isn't using a picture as a reference but a drawing and you are able to see it in the video
great work, but horribly boring to watch with no talking....
😅 please turn off the sound and watch
