I kept hearing from the sports media that "If the Lakers played anyone else, they would've made it to the conference finals". Well I doubt I'll hear that propaganda again, because these same Nuggets are getting absolutely vaporized.
Agree and you see the refs actually allowing some defence. It’s the good thing with all the crying super stars gone fishing otherwise the second round will be the same as unwatchable games. Happy for all the second rounders.
Hearing people say the Timberwolves are playing unreal defense, and realizing, no, they are PLAYING DEFENSE. No one has seen defense in so long, it might just catch on.
Exactly, was thinking the same thing watching last night . I hate this version of the NBA, but watching the defense last night. Bought a smile to my face. It's just a shootout every night whoever scores the most 3's wins.
Nah they’re playing unreal defense. Full court guarding Jokic w/ another big man..trapping/blitzing multiple pick&rolls, impassioned on ball defense. They go above and beyond on defense
Yeah, no. The reason people like you say "there's no defense" is because this is the hardest era there's ever been to play to defense in the league. You have playerz on ever team who can shoot from 30+ feet so you have to guard multiple players at the 3-pt line. You have NO LANE defense, so Bigs usually get one on ones or are isolated on smaller players. It's never required this much TEAM defense. Minnesota is the first team to really dominate with defense in this Post Curry Era.
Bro I never ACTUALLY realized how many people despise Jokic after this series, the man has one bad postseason in 10 years and everyone starts calling him a fraud, LeBalco couldn't win more than 4 times with his super teams and no one says shit about it. These fans are pathetic
They hate him, even his own fans despise him, and they are very quick to turn their back to him. This is a good preview of how his end of the carrier will be. Just look at that parade they had, people throwed trash at him and his wife, his child.
Jokic isn't having a bad post-season. He's playing the best post-season in the league. He's missing his co-star, and he's still putting up the same damn insane statlines.
Most of the reasons are because he’s white European and his body is not athletic and people have this perceived notions. I love the guy exactly because he breaks the mold. He’s been playing amazing and Murray overall is not doing his job despite the two daggers against the Lakers. Minnesota is just too good.
haters are just waiting for a HOLE to penetrate to. Nuggets are struggling and down 0-2, that's their chance to pound on him REGARDLESS of the context.
Defense and aggression, plus refs allowing contact makes teams not like each other...just a taste of it has Murray throwing things. This is what the league has been missing.
@@BLadzothank Silver for that. He should’ve kept it soft until next season not wait until the playoffs to let them play like this. Kinda messed up. Maybe Silver is upset the Lakers lost now he’s on a rampage…told the refs only call hard fouls or none at all.
I feel they allowed Minnesota to play much more aggressively, just look closer at this video, and you will know what i mean. Look MPJ having contact when he shoots 3. Right after Murry taking 3 pointer with contact, and Jokic trying to score while opposing player holding hand over his hands, as I know you have to have hands straight up to avoid fouling. I don't know, maybe i just need another pair of eyes.
Yes! I totally agree. This is what real basketball looks like: tough defense, explosive offense, and high stakes games where the players care and winning actually means something!
It's always something with the Trash From Akron. I'm surprised LeAss didn't come out to his post-game interview with hooked up to a respirator talking about the altitude. You know Nick Wrong would actually run with it.
Exactly! This proves that LeBum can't get it done. Denver was vulnerable in that entire series but LeBron called the shots and of course.... did what he does best. He choked big time and then blamed Ham. This series proves it.
@@razkablethey’re not bums but he definitely has them believing! Even Kat who is historically soft and inconsistent has been playing elite both ways!! Remarkable stuff.
Then they wouldn't get views on this channel. Society thirsts on controversy, drama and negativity. But I totally agree with you. It's more accurate to say Timberwolves are what you say. They're playing a style of baskeball that no other team puts effort into. Elite, tight defense. Very fun to watch and I'm not even a Timberwolves fan
I agree man. I don't mind him ripping on Bron all the time. I feel he deserves it after all the shenanigans over the years. But Jamal aint a bad guy. He just not playing well.
Just look at all the contact by Minnesota in just the clips Skap showed. If that was the Lakers instead of Denver, they would`ve had close to 100 free throws attempts, and all the Minnesota players would`ve fouled out. I think refs SHOULD be allowing this amount of contact, but they have to be calling it evenly throughout the league.
Any Nuggets Fan Reading that feels this is over: The very first thing Jokic did after winning the Finals was shake every person's hand on the Heat. He did the same thing to MN last night after that bloodbath. I cant imagine how difficult that was. I think resilience and perseverance are the two most underrated traits that an athlete can possess after having witnessed Jokic's unorthodox rise to superstar status over the last several years. I actually believe that those who think they have this series figured out now, are completely underestimating this guy, his leadership, and the natural transformation that extraordinary talent can undergo when presented with the most adverse circumstances. Remember when silent Jokic got loud in timeouts against Phoenix last year when Durant and Booker were 80% from the field in the first two games, and the series was a nerve-wracking one? He rallied them with his intensity, and now that series is retrospectively considered a blowout. Remember, Jokic led the same core guys to two consecutive 3-1 series comebacks. I haven't seen emotion from him yet. Let the wolves get comfortable. We've had 7 games now that we've played terrible. Were due. Jokic will step up and get them motivated when it counts. We've let MN hit us in the mouth over and over again, and we dont react. When Jokic comes to form and steps into that leadership role in MN, the momentum will swing. Compared to Jokic or Gordon, do you think KAT is tougher? Or Gobert? Or NAZ REID?? We ran these clowns off the floor last year. Friday, we FUCK SHIT UP.
Agreed. But that wouldn’t help the nuggets this series. They need off the dribble shot creation someone that can get into the paint. Neither one of them guys could do that.
@@johnmarkson1998 No, the nuggets are an actual team. With a real leader that makes his teammates better. Youve been watching too much kebron james so your view on the nba is massively distorted.
They were good last year as well. But this year they are better with full roster while Nuggets are crippled with injuries and lack of depth. Both teams can edge the other team, if the circumstances are right.
Anything to not blame the so called greatest player in the league, overrated 2 time MVP that only plays half the court. It doesn’t show up in the box score how many times he was blown by or scored on he’s a terrible defender.
Plus, Jokic just had an all time stinker and 0 mention of him. He’s been atrocious this series. He deserves the bulk of the blame. It ALWAYS starts with the best player if they’re not performing, and Jokic isn’t not performing! Blatant double standard by Skap rn
@@johngriller4997 ? He talks about it in the video that Jokic has not had a good series and had an awful game. The point here, I think, is that Skap is saying other than some late game heroics, Murray has been off and even when Jokic was stellar, that was a reason the Lakers series was competitive.
@@-ac-8296😂 you got used to the stat padded league?! Can’t just play one side of the ball. The league started losing traction due to an offensive heavy league. That’s why they implemented early 2000 to 2015 defence. NCAA doesn’t have teams averaging 100 points a game and is very popular. This is the REAL NBA.
@@-ac-8296 So throwing stuff on the court is part of the game? If Rudy got fined 100k Murray needs a suspension. No debate! What does real defence have to do with immature people and tantrums? It’s part of the sport but throwing stuff and acting like my lil cousin isn’t.
I knew the Nuggets depth issue would be a problem but damn. The starters are not playing like themselves. It will sadly be a sweep if they don't wake up
This Minnesota Timberwolves team is proving the notion of “scoring is higher cause of better talent rather than lack of defense” to be completely erroneous.
YES. EXACTLY THIS. Been saying this shit since the moment the league let them play rough physical defense for a month a couple of yrs back. Everyone’s numbers went down and then Adam Silver said enough bc these mfs were str8 garbage.
Most teams dont have the tools to play this kind of defense. They have so many players who are big and still very agile and good enough offensively to be on the floor most of the game unlike a guy like vanderbilt.
Jxmmyhighroller bum ass. 😂😂😂 I've been saying that the ONLY reason teams are scoring more is because of the rule changes that have allowed for a much, MUCH, looser offense, which includes all the 3pt shooting that have skyrocketed most players' PPG, as well as made them much more focused on offense than ever before to the point that they end up disregarding defense much more so than in the past. I mean, just think about it. When the entire league can get away with carrying the ball and doing so much shit that would be considered offensive fouls back then, as well as numerous other reasons, then it only makes sense why players are scoring more than ever. Thinking Basketball even made a video describing how the NBA has CONTINUALLY made scoring easier for crying out loud. 😂
This series confirms what we knew all along. A lot of so called "Superstars" in today's era would not have survived the 90s in the NBA. The kind of defensive tenacity Minesota is demonstrating in these playoffs was normal in the NBA in the 90s, and we're seeing the effects on some of the top players like Jokic and Murray just to name a few. The botttom line is today's NBA is too soft.
💯 I saw them picking them up FULL Court and I was like: “this is just a regular 90s game”. None of these guys can play through this much physicality except Steph Curry, who proved it in 2022.
Nuggets beat this same Wolves team last year on their way to a championship, so the problem isn't the physicality it's that the Nuggets just aren't as good as last year and the Wolves are better.
@@sined9819 No they didn’t. Macdaniels didn’t play nor did Naz Reid. Saying Nuggets beat the same team is like saying Warriors beat the same Nuggets team in 2022. Not to mention they are playing better defense this year. They’re being more physical in every facet of the game.
Murray is considered an all star caliber player because he really elevated his game in his previous playoff appearances, he hasnt play well so far in these playoffs, this happens, players get into slumps, it has happened to other players us well.
It’s moments like this you realize why Jamal Murray never made an all star team, no disrespect its levels to this and Jamal Murray is just very good role player
Murray is a borderline superstar player. Stop being disingenuous y’all. He’s performed every time in the playoffs except this year. Nobody gives a shit what happened in the regular szn. A perfect example is Kawhi who is a player who coasts through reg szn, not even close to MVP level, but when playoffs come around he turns into MJ himself. Jimmy butler is another example. Stop it with this bs narrative. Murray is no bum.
The switch up is crazy You said in a previous video a year before Jamal Murray needs some damn respect. And now you’re calling him a bum all of a sudden
Not remotely the same. Even YOUNG LeBron in Cleveland who had NO HELP played with MULTIPLE all-stars in his first 7 years. AND they were one of the best defensive teams in the league--top 5 in net defense multiple years. AND since those first 7 years, he has played with MULTIPLE all-stars and hall of fame players. Jokic in going to be in his tenth year next season and has NEVER played with a single all-star. There are excuses and there are reasons. Jokic isn't good right now, but his supporting cast is pathetic. I have been talking about the limitations to his cast for a year now.
Jokic’s bad nights are a couple of steals or assists away from a triple-double. A center putting up 16-16-7 on the first down night would never be critiqued more than maybe saying they should have more points.
The difference is also the actual performance of said teammates... Anthony Davis and Austin Reeves had great and decent performances, Jokic's teammates are just being straight up awful. Murray who is supposed to be his 2nd man, is usually good only in the clutch 😂
@@manz7860 are you even watching the playoffs? It went to 7 and Murray scored 35. The Wolves were better but it doesn’t make my comment wrong you fruit
Jokic played like a BUM, just like his teammates, in the last game. He was outplayed by KAT, and Rudy didn't even play. The Nuggets haven't beaten a team with 50+ wins during the playoffs in the Jokic era. It will really put things into perspective if they lose this series.
You know the Nuggets are in trouble when Aaron Gordon is bringing the ball up the court and launching 3s with abandon. That's couldn't be further from his role.
According to Jxmy’s most recent video Jamal Murray is the most clutch playoff performer/playoff riser in NBA history. The Nuggets are completely shaken by the extremely aggressive defense from the Wolves. We never should have let Bruce Brown go, and our bench is god awful now. They went all in on youth and supposed potential while their stars are in their prime. Also completely Ignoring Connelly building the Wolves strictly to beat Denver is 100% on management and Malone. I don’t blame Murray for this series. We wouldn’t have won last year without him. I put more blame on MPJ and KCP. They are there strictly to hit 3’s, and they just don’t when it matters. When MPJ hits 3’s we blow teams out. Game 2 officiating was also dogshit, lopsided as fuck to anyone who actually watched. I like physical play, but call the game evenly if you’re gonna call something. They let MN play aggressive as hell and blew the whistle on Denver for playing the same. The NBA is very blatantly marketing the hell out of Anthony Edwards. Which I’m happy for him, he’s a complete dog, but don’t do it like this. It’s very clearly unfair and biased. Jokic and Murray don’t have remotely the same whistle that Edwards does. Call the games evenly or don’t call them at all!
no no NO WAY SKAP. I expect harsh criticism on jokic too for shooting awful 38% FG & 0 points in the 4th quarter! If he’s gonna be the future of this league. He gets the same treatment as all the other greats
Thank you I can’t stand when his fans point to his box score totals. His shooting percentage is bad his turnovers are high and worst of all he’s getting blown by and scored on every other possession but his ole’ defense doesn’t show up in the box score
That wouldn’t fit skap’s clown narrative. Why do these people follow such a bum like skap? I only watch his videos so I can call him out for the clown that he is.
You’re forgetting that Murray had some atrocious games against the infinitely worse Lakers too though… it’s not much the defense on him than it is him not showing up
I don't think Murray is a 100%. That being said, the Wolves still got Denver's card. This team is good. Their test will come from the Thunder as I don't see Dallas beating them (Thunder).
Sounds like you trying Make excuses for over hype Jokic...all the NBA media engineer narrative push best player in world Goofy he's only a offensive skill fundamentals player but. DEFENSE ASS primitive basketball is offense and defense..they was lucky last year 1 and DONE..that's that!
I agree, I don't understand why they gotta overhype jokic, same people who overhype him also criticize Lebron constantly for stat padding while not doing jack on D and standing around on the offensive end, by watching Lebron they should understand that Jokic is doing worse right now, there's no reason to bring Jamal up, he's not even an all star, he's playing hurt and still made 2 game winners, he's trying way harder than Jokic who is playing like a lazy bum. The NBA has been trash for the past few seasons, this one is different though, "superteams" got exposed, denver got lucky last season because everyone else lacked the talent to face them. They might have overwhelming talent, but these are trash teams, Denver had the same issues last season and they won because somehow Murray couldn't miss a shot.
Jokic deserves criticism and he doesnt have a limited supporting cast. Murray is an all star caliber player and aaron gordan is pretty good aswell. You have to put the blame on the best player when he almost gets outscored by naz reid.
It is fair to say that Jokic doesn’t have second option player. Anyway I believe that if Murray play as he played year ago, they will have potential to advance to the next round 🤞🏻
This legitimately might be one of the best defensive teams ever. They don’t have a weak point outside of Kyle Anderson who is still tall af. They have so many tall quick strong wings and the DPOY who is one of the best pure rim protectors we’ve ever seen. Holding a Jokic led team to 80 points is fucking inane
@@Zemlja_je_ravna no they didnt. The clippers, the nets, the warriors, the kings, the nuggets, the hawks, the raptors, the grizzlies and the wizards all sucked

It is entirely disingenuous to say Jokic does not have an All Star. Just last week the Nuggets had a great roster but after 2 games they are all trash now apparently. Jokic fan boys ugh
Everyone gave jokic all the credit and glory for winning and ignored the level Jamal played at. Now Jamal isn't playing to his level he was last year and nuggets are getting handled. Jokic defense is also bad, so this is more than just Murray struggling
Watching the game, I felt somewhat sad about Lebum being eliminated by Denver. He would be totally obliterated and humiliated by these Wolves. What a pity.
Jamal Murray was shooting bricks left, right and center against Lakers, but won't get an easy exit this time. They had success last year because he stepped up his game, but it's not happening now. His not so good games is why things seemed to tight with Lakers. Minessota is a younger, fresher, tighter and more athletic team, and he's coming short again.
A Minnesota team that is classically built with good big men, an alpha and great defense has the looks of a dynasty forming. The only that I will say as a Laker fan is that this is a good for the game. No more superteam building nonsense.
This just showed how a complete Trash LePleaseWorshipme and their defense as a team. If they are easily coasting over the Lakers and now getting overwhelmed by the Wolves, how much more if Minnesota faced LeTurd?🤔 Denver looked like headed for a championship again after destroying the megalomaniac egotist choking flopping complainer. My Goodness. *ANTHONY EDWARDS* is becoming the real King👑 and Face of the NBA right before our very eyes.😯💯 Finally NBA is seeing the rise of a young KING who is really worthy and NOT a Fraud.🤡👍
Murray is actually a top underrated All-Star, the way he guarded and shut down Lebron along with the 2 game clutch daggers shows how good he actually is. It just happened that he is facing someone who is like his mirror, just younger and got superior athleticism in ANT.

How fast people forgot those two crucial game winning shots against Lakers. Which Nuggets player did great against Timberwolves ? This is different series and no need to use same bashing as for the LeBlame. Murray has never declared himself as goat or best eva. He is great player which is having hard times in last few games.
I love Murray for eliminating and posterizing the "Queen of all Frauds and the most overrated whinny flopping self-proclaimed Diva"🤭 But I can't believe that despite his finesse and dagger shots that sent the Queen to Cancun. I did not expect he will follow him there that early especially at the hands of the 1 and only GOAT Michael Jordan's son Anthony Edwards who is showing flashes of explosiveness, killer instinct and handles like his father. In fairness Murray is amazing, quick, athletic, great handles. Unfortunately he ran into someone quicker, more explosive, jumps higher has tighter handles and great defender Anthony Edwards.💪 They are the new FACES of the NBA. ANT Jamal Murray Kyrie.. for eliminating ALL the Frauds.🤣
Wow Skap, now its Murray's fault? He saved the Nuggets against the Lakers. He didn't shoot well in that series but did his thing in the clutch while hitting two game winners in 2 of their wins. Jokic has now had 17 turnovers in his last 3 playoff games (including 6 in that game 5 against the Lakers). AD was killing Jokic and the Lakers stopped giving him the ball in almost every 2nd half in that series. Jokic defers to Murray in the clutch most of the time so dont start trying to throw him under the bus when the "best player in the world" isnt playing well either.
Dawgs* he got blitzed every time he gets a touch. Don't be foolish, Jokic's bag is as big as anyones. When he gets doubled, someone is open. It's just that they couldn't make a shot when they got the rock. He definitely needs to be more aggressive
If you're referring to Jokic, but just didn't have the guts to say it. This isn't a dawg coming at Jokic. This is the most stacked team in the league coming at Jokic, who's playing without his co-star.
@@penkima4923 last I checked Murray had multiple buzzer beat winners last year and in the 1st round- you know like game 5 elimination of the Lakers where Jokic got carried by Murray & MPJ to beat LA... or do facts not fit your agenda?
Yikes people couldn’t wait to start talking bad about Denver . In their success they’re barely praised, when they’re struggling people kick them down, it’s crazy. Respect to the wolves for making it ugly for these guys man . If you win this series you guys deserve to win a ring.
Minnesota in a nice easy sweep. The Wolves are built for a title. They have classic bigs, 2 guards that are playing out of their minds, wings that are committed to defense and get rewarded by their star player routinely, and they make the hustle plays that count. And these losses are not a Jokic problem. This is a Denver problem. Denver was constructed to beat the Lakers. If that was the only team in their way, it works. But not for the way Minnesota is constructed. THAT team is built to beat...guess who? DENVER!...and everybody else. I am highly impressed with what I am seeing in this team. They deserve it. Keep dropping Skap!
It's a shame Ant-Man has to be the young american on the team, so he's made the front man. He only acts cocky when his team plays well, and doesn't respect his previous generations at all. Finally a team the Gobert has got playing good defense, and they just had to be led by a turd. Ant represents his ungrateful generation of hypocrites perfectly.
Agree with only ur first paragraph. These losses are definitely on Jokic. He’s become 2011 lebum james turning the ball over routinely, cannot get a shot up vs this defense, has 0 defense himself, and missing windows he’d normally find for tight passes. This is on Jokic too. This isn’t the same player we saw in 2023. Even in that Lakers series, same thing was happening, he just got bailed out by MPJ and Murray timely clutch shots in the 4th.
@@johngriller4997 LeBum just shuts down in 2011 and let the actual best player on the team to take over. Jokic hasn't shut down yet. Try not to ignore the fact that nugget's substitute routinely gets dunked on by wolf's substitutes.
I had to shut the tv off during the first quarter of game two because the officiating was so atrocious. I'm not even remotely interested in watching the rest of the series even if the Nuggets manage to pull off a come back and take the series the NBA Officiating is absolutely ridicules. The Nuggets expected to show up to play a basketball game, the Timbercoons were being allowed to play Rugby.
I feel so bad for Jokic, whenever he has an off-shooting night, it's 99% that they lose the match because there's no one on this Denver team that can take over games. Post-injury Murray is good for the 2023 playoffs and that's about it. Look at the other superstars in the league: Embiid has Maxey, Luka has Kyrie, Ant has KAT and Gobert, JT has an all-star team, Giannis has Dame and Middleton, Shai has a young and full of potential supporting cast. With Jokic's pass-first mentality it's absolutely crucial to find him an elite duo partner with consistency, not the injury-prone coinflip that is Murray.
This is a complete mismatch from what I'm seeing. Hoping to see a Timberwolves/Thunder vs Knicks match-up in the Finals. New York NEEDS this, its been 30 years.
*Use* *your* *butt* *more..* Anthony Edwards revealed in an interview in 2020 about the advice he received from the six-time champion. “It was mostly just, ‘Use your butt more in the post, in the mid-post,‘” Edwards said. He continued, “I feel like that was the best thing he told me. He was like, ‘You’re stronger than I am. You’re more athletic. You’re bigger than me. Use your butt more and create more space and you’re gonna be unguardable.'” I guess Ant followed the real #23 and GOAT’s advice. We keep saying he’s 1984, 1988, or 1989 Michael Jordan. That fadeaway jumper and shrug just transported Ant to 1992! I wonder if Mike is watching and thinking, maybe I should give this kid a call? Mike doesn’t mind mentoring kids unlike LeBron who is only about enhancing his legacy. Mike didn’t need to mentor Kobe but he did. Man, this series is over if Jamal Murray gets suspended for Game 3. Even if he did play, Denver would still be an underdog. I’ve never seen suffocating defense like what the TWolves displayed last night since maybe the 2008 Celtics. And they’re so long. No Gobert, no problem. Get 6’9 Jayden McDaniels and Shai’s cousin, Nickiel at 6’5, to go double Jamal. I thought this would be the best playoff series of this season but it actually hasn’t. The TWolves have been destroying the reigning champs. It’s over. Unless Denver can somehow steal Game 3 but predictably lose Game 4, they would need another 3-1 comeback miracle like they did twice in 2020. If Denver loses Game 3, then they’ll get swept. I thought if the Lakers had beaten Denver, they would be in the Finals. Wrong again. The Lakers weren’t beating Minnesota either. It really doesn’t matter who the Lakers gets this summer. They can sign Klay Thompson for the mid level and they’re still not beating Denver and Minnesota next year or the years after that. How is a 6’7 SG at age 35 going to help the Lakers surpass those teams? Lakers don’t have the size and youth to beat Minnesota. The Western Conference is going to be ruled by Minnesota and Denver for the next 10 years. It might be ruled only by Minnesota with the way they’ve been annihilating Denver as of late. Payback for last year. Anthony Edwards’ jersey sales are going to skyrocket after this series.
Great to hear Anthony Edwards is actually following the 1 and only GOAT Michael Jordan's advice👍, unlike LePleaseWorshipMe busy enhancing his legacy and praising himself instead of lifting and teaching others to be great.😆

How about trying to pay attention to that next game? Nobody wants to be honest they want to be honest about LeBron. They want to be honest about everyone else except for Nikola Jokić. Sports discourse has become so toxic, especially basketball. No one is allowed to have a bad game or a bad series. If they do they're immediately called a bum. I’ve been saying for months that the nuggets only have 2 players that can create their own shot. Idk what was up with the narrative that the nuggets had so much talent more so than the lakers.
They had to hype the nuggets to diminish jokics greatness and to save lebrons image. Also the nba has an obsession with highlighting black players over white players.
Aside from their terrible bench the Nuggets have a great team. But Murray is injured and the Wolves are a terrible match up for them. This team was constructed to best Denver and it has worked

I'm not a fan of either team, but Edwards and Jokic are remarkable when both play at a high level. One could argue the removal of James, Steph, and KD; the product is damn enjoyable. Now, I have noticed that some players are sometimes labeled stars or superstars when they have unique games. The odd couple on Fox had a few conversations about Edwards and Bruson being stars or superstars. My question is, what is the timetable for determining what is labeled? Is it four games, a playoff run, or when the sports analysis talks about you? I believe Murray is about average, maybe a little higher, but Jokic had a younger Chris Paul, not prime, but Phoenix. But there are no excuses because Denver has to adjust like any other team. It's just something to think about when we label players stars who may not be suitable for that level. We saw a lot of 0 points a game from players with high contracts. Those players who are called stars and superstars can't live up to the pressure.

If you look at the defensive ratings over the years, it’s much lower compared to last years

Jokic isn't having a bad post-season. He's playing the best post-season in the league. He's missing his co-star, and he's still putting up the same damn insane statlines.
Most of the reasons are because he’s white European and his body is not athletic and people have this perceived notions.

Any Nuggets Fan Reading that feels this is over:
The very first thing Jokic did after winning the Finals was shake every person's hand on the Heat.
Anthony edwards will be the best player on team usa
Most teams dont have the tools to play this kind of defense. They have so many players who are big and still very agile and good enough offensively to be on the floor most of the game unlike a guy like vanderbilt.
Jxmmyhighroller bum ass. 😂😂😂
I've been saying that the ONLY reason teams are scoring more is because of the rule changes that have allowed for a much, MUCH, looser offense, which includes all the 3pt shooting that have skyrocketed most players' PPG, as well as made them much more focused on offense than ever before to the point that they end up disregarding defense much more so than in the past.

This is my problem with these "pass first" superstars.Great stats but when a dawg comes at you, you have no tools to respond
@@Reaper13-hi3yo sweep comin up!
Aged like milk bruh
If the nuggets gave the Lakers a gentleman’s sweep…the wolves would have dished out a straight blowout sweep….in every game.
Defensive intensity and Jordanesque Anthony Edwards. It really seems basketball is back after a long hibernation.
Never underestimate the heart of a champion- Rudy T
Yikes people couldn’t wait to start talking bad about Denver . In their success they’re barely praised, when they’re struggling people kick them down, it’s crazy. Respect to the wolves for making it ugly for these guys man . If you win this series you guys deserve to win a ring.
This did not aged well😂😂😂
Minnesota in a nice easy sweep.
@@penkima4923"He's (Jordan) the greatest of all time. I can't be compared to him."
- Anthony Edwards
@@FrodoTbagLol, even Lebron’s worse series of his life he was shooting better percentage than Kobe’s best ones. Imagine
This makes the suns look soo much better and the lakers soooo much worse 💀😂😂😂😂
Lakers would match up better against the Wolves. Nuggets were a bad matchup for the Lakers

*Use* *your* *butt* *more..*
Anthony Edwards revealed in an interview in 2020 about the advice he received from the six-time champion. “It was mostly just, ‘Use your butt more in the post, in the mid-post,‘” Edwards said. He continued, “I feel like that was the best thing he told me. He was like, ‘You’re stronger than I am. You’re more athletic. You’re bigger than me. Use your butt more and create more space and you’re gonna be unguardable.'”
I guess Ant followed the real #23 and GOAT’s advice.
Great to hear Anthony Edwards is actually following the 1 and only GOAT Michael Jordan's advice👍, unlike LePleaseWorshipMe busy enhancing his legacy and praising himself instead of lifting and teaching others to be great.😆
20.4 ppg on 21 field goal attempts cannot be real😭😭😭
This speaks to how good Jokic is. Without him the Nuggets are the worst team in the league
Stop it don’t be a prisoner of the moment, Murray carried the nuggets making big shots after big shots to win that championship last year
Jokic certainly has covered up A LOT of inadequacies on this roster for the last few years.
You sound like a lebron fan. They won without his this season and last.
@@nelsonshut6840hitting some clutch shots doesn’t make you a superstar. Robert Horry bailed the Lakers out countless times where’s your logic there? Keep the same energy.
You’re bugging the reason why they’re losing is because Nikola Jokić doesn’t provide any resistance at the rim, basketball isn’t just about scoring you have to be able to stop the other team from scoring and it’s easy layups to the basket when Jokić is in the game. How about trying to pay attention to that next game? Nobody wants to be honest they want to be honest about LeBron. They want to be honest about everyone else except for Nikola Jokić. He is trash on defense, absolute garbage.

All 5 wolves starters are top 20 defenders this year. Only jokic is on that list for Denver.
No new series updates in a few days... Wonder why? 😂
Wow that defense reminds me of the Chicago Bulls defense
Sports discourse has become so toxic, especially basketball. No one is allowed to have a bad game or a bad series. If they do they're immediately called a bum. Some of the same people criticizing Murray in these comments were praising him when he hit those 2 GW shots vs the Lakers. And were praising him in last seasons playoffs. But now he's a bum. And Minnesota is a championship team when they've won no championships 🤦♂
I’ve been saying for months that the nuggets only have 2 players that can create their own shot. Idk what was up with the narrative that the nuggets had so much talent more so than the lakers.
The Nuggets are as good as the Wolves, when they have those two players healthy.
Jokic would win chip with Lakers lineup easily. Imagine AD and Jokic + other goodies.
@@penkima4923excuses these dudes on the court stop being a bih
They had to hype the nuggets to diminish jokics greatness and to save lebrons image.
Also the nba has an obsession with highlighting black players over white players.
Aside from their terrible bench the Nuggets have a great team. But Murray is injured and the Wolves are a terrible match up for them. This team was constructed to best Denver and it has worked
In Murray's defense, he looks hobbled and slow as hell right now
Murray is clearly injured, and it reads on the injury report. This isn't Murray being exposed. This is Skap being exposed.
Well then he need to be on the bench and let the next man play. No excuses, next man up.

Come on dawg he's a solid guy he wasmd they were losing, he's a good dude
