- Is a stork bite different from an angel kiss? What about simple nevi? Strawberry hemangiomas? Port- wine stains? "Mongolian spots?" In this video we cover the FOUR most common skin markings infants are born with. Learn which are harmless, and which may need further evaluation and treatment. And remember when you see the abnormalities: carefully document them in the chart!

Hello, Dr. Tala!
I love your work and your channel, so helpful!
Can you recommend a source for the basics for a fresh NICU resident that can teach me the basics and that is not overwhelming with 3000 pages 😂.
Hello!!!! Thanks for being here. We made a video on recommendations for books in the NICU- maybe start by checking that out.
I think the most helpful thing though is to find actual review articles in journals- so like a BPD or IVH review or whatever!
Do you also do CCRN or RNC NIC review?
You know Cindy- this would have been a much better idea! Ha! We’ll cover those next. Probably more enjoyable material too! THANK YOU so much!!!
Thank you Dr Tala ❤
Thank you for watching and for taking time to comment!
