AT just one years old, an accident affecting Afsheen’s neck changed her life forever. When Afsheen was a baby she fell from her older sister’s lap and was hurt. Being unable to afford to take her to a doctor, Afsheen’s neck permanently became stuck in a sidewards position - and she is still suffering from this today. Afsheen, now aged 12, needs help from her brother and mother to do basic tasks. Despite all the setbacks, Afsheen has grown in confidence with the help of her friends and social media. Her mother, Jameelan, and brother are hoping that one day soon Afsheen will undergo surgery to improve her standard of living.

Good news everyone. She had her neck surgery recently and it was a success!! Her head is upright and after a few months in hospital she was able to go home with her brother. What a lovely family I hope nothing but the best for all of them.
Operated by Dr Rajgopalan at Apollo hospital, new Delhi, India. And I heard hospital and doctor given treatment free of cost. That's amazing. Hats off to such wonderful doctor and hospital. God bless them. God bless Asfeen. 🙏
I'm so happy to hear! Wonderful news! I was so hoping that would happen. So happy for her.

She wasn't born different she suffered an accident that's why her neck is permanently tilted 90 degrees. Her life was completely normal until the accident. Hopefully someday she would be able to get surgery to get her neck back in place.
Should of been done, when the accident occurred, maybe with a neck brace, but now I’m sure that time has passed

I was thinking that too. I don’t think the fall is what caused this, the homeopath did. I wonder if her brain stem separates from her cervical spine. Guys: her family loves her because she is their meal ticket!! Not kidding. While there was a guy in Australia who had raised funds for her surgery ... he wasn't going to risk putting the $ in anyone's grubby little hands, and despite the effort he was not able to find someone at the hospital that he could trust to give the funds to....SO he shut down his "fundraiser" and returned all the donations. This of course, pissed the family off. While the family had taken Afsheen to be analyzed by a surgeon at Karachi hospital. this was around the same time that the Aussie tried to get the gofundme donations to someone outside the family. I wouldn't doubt that the treatment from the "homeopath" had more to do with her situation than the fall.
Yeah it looks like he tried to do the chiropractic neck crack and snapped her effing neck.
I agree and it’s very worrying that her neck could give out one day and she could lose her life if it pinched her spinal cord the wrong way. I hope she’s able to get the surgery she needs so she can continue to share her light with the world. I can’t fathom how she is so happy and positive giving her struggles.
She doesn't appear to behave /talk for a child of her age and has her left arm hanging too. Her mother tells people she was born like it. I know the girl had a fall as a one year old but perhaps she had already been born different which contributed to the fall 🤷🏼♀️❓
The father said the homepath twisted her neck he obviously didn't have a clue what he was doing she's a beautiful girl she's suffered a lot of pain l wish we could help her.
Facts
No matter what, she's a precious little angel in my eyes.
I agree with you.
It's upsetting not being able to afford a doctor, thus making one accident fatal, and/or permanent. Like this case.
Especially at such a young age. But that's the way of the world I suppose, most humans in most developed countries have such mastery of nature that it's easy to forget that a natural life is filled with suffering. A couple tens of thousands of years ago we'd barely be better off than the animals around us and things like this or dying from what we would see as a simple broken arm or leg would be common occurrences for those lucky enough to live beyond their infancy.

This poor girl she wasn’t treated properly it’s so sad she must be in so much pain😭
@Blass I know I agree it’s sad
Her neck's position looks very painful because it's not as a human body should look normally, BUT i highly doubt she's in "so much pain" because honestly, i cannot smile and play with friends if i was in "so much pain" and i would probably have tears in my eyes every minute. Having said that, i see (in this video) how difficult her life is, and having to be this way everyday of her life. Clarification Needed: The brother stated the homeopath twisted her neck after the accident. I presume the doctor made her accident worse?
I think she was a victim of a malpractice or something
homeopath is a type of pseudo-science using medicines that we typically wouldn't find at like a fancy hospital, and the dad said that they didn't have the funds to bring her to a doctor so I assume he was trying to fix her neck somehow and made it worse without realizing because she was only one. This is all purely my assumption of course.
@@XFallenFreakX I think you’re 100% correct.

As a nurse, her movements make me think she has mild CP that really hadn't shown at the age of 12 months. Due to the associated issues, her "accident" just made it more evident.
I agree with you. The "accident" doesnt really make sense but you can tell something else is wrong.
Do you know if this can be fixed completely again?

Agreed! There’s anything boy in India that has a neck very much like hers, not sure what’s going on either but the “ accident “ doesn’t make sense..
Perhaps it happened after the accident and as she grew with her neck distorted like that.. I'm sure that angle puts a lot of pressure on her nerves
That fact that those little children saw her as an equal to them regardless of her disability just goes to show how much more educated they are than some ppl in priviledged countries
