- This is the 3rd installment of printing greeting cards in our print shop. In this video, Howard prints the museum's monogram on the front cover of the cards. The printing press Howard is operating is a Gordon style jobbing press manufactured by Chandler & Price company in Cleveland, Ohio in 1902. The video covers inking the press and various angles of its operation.

I had to subscribe. I am a 30 year Pressman. I can run as well as repair almost any presss. Started on A B Dick, Multi. Harris perfector. In the end of my career I was running Ryobi 3302m 2 color and Adast 26 inch 4 color press.
A bit faster. 10,000 impressions per hour.
Fastest press I ever ran were Jet envelope press. 60,000 an hour. Thanks for sharing, I found this very interesting how it all started.
I just dozed off listening to the noises of the press. It's so peaceful and calming
Poetry in motion.
An audio recording of this press would make a good relaxation audio.
What an awesome machine. I love it sound.
that machine was so well designed it almost has a soul
I can’t believe I’m only seeing this now. This is incredibly dangerous! Very very awesome. Press the red button Howard.
Very interesting! My question is why the press is not electric powered if it was made in 1902?😊
Amazing!
Who manufactured these machine at that time?
La imprenta es sagrada porque en ella se imprime la Palabra.
I trained as a Letterpress Printer 60 years ago and did a 6 year Apprenticeship....this just makes me laugh...
I keep expecting marbles to drop and play a vibraphone.. sigh...
Still awesome though, especially from the era it came from and the fact it still works even!
The pedal and wheel goes fast while the ink rollers go so slow!
How was this tolerable to use?😮
Can I come work with you guys please 🥺🙏
Khaki!?
