I can't speak about the bay area chinese over boston but as a bostoion I've been living in lousiana for the past 4 years and I tell people here all the time nothing beats boston chinese food down in the south it's not really good in my opinion

Roxbury was back in the seventies up until late 90's then it started getting lighter out come the early 2000's, today there is no black Boston, this broad is talking through her lumpy ass
There are areas of different cultures in Boston. Chinatown, North End is Italian, Southie is Irish, Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan are definitely black Boston
Black Boston Iâm from Ma. And this is stupid Iâve never heard of anyone saying this before and Pat or whatever this person is cuz I have never heard of it b4 is not repân Boston very well! Who is this
"Black Boston" is just a rough/general description of the Boston areas/neighborhoods with predominantly black populace (Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, etc). And don't gatekeep just by saying you're "from MA", bro. If you live all the way in bumfuck Worcester (still MA, but all the way out west), how the hell would you know? đ
Went out in boston one night. Bottle service the whole lot. Ended it in china town at some restaurant. Remember we got 1 of everything and it was straight đ„

SIMCO's is closing. Boston hood Chinese food is effing gross....C'mon. There is good Chinese food in the Boston area but it doesn't come close to the Bay area, he's 100% right. Randolph, Quincy, and Braintree has some really good Asian spots.
Lmao bay area got the best Chinese food and Mexican food. Also some legendary cultural spots for some good cuisine. Boston aint got shit on Bay area food bruh.
I'm w/ Jules on this one & I even routinely went for dim sum brunch in Boston's Chinatown, as well as late-night eats (in the post-combat zone era). The Bay has got Beantown beat on this one. SF & Oakland Chinatown FTW. đ„Ąđ„
Chinatown is real authentic Asian food, it's what Asians themselves dine on, what this woman is talking about is Chinese food American style, not what the Chinese eat, it's created for Americans, that's the food she is referring to and the Kowloon in Saugus Massachusetts is the best Chinese food outside of Boston, it's very popular and celebrities when in town frequent this restaurant, it's really fucking good
@@Gregory-sm9pf Then she should say "Americanized Chinese." And not the commercialized stuff sold by Panda Express (cheap/take-out) & PF Chang's (upscale/dine-in). Is Saugus considered Boston? đ€ It's 10-miles away in Essex County! I'm familiar w/ Rt.1 from back in the day w/ Hilltop Steakhouse (plastic cows), Mini Golf (the orange dinosaur), Kappy's Liquors, & the aforementioned Kowloon. I hope you're aware they intend to downsize it & build other retail + housing in the same place; better than completely closing. Heck, if that counts then Golden Temple & E Room in Brookline are similar, even classier. Bernard's in Chestnut Hill too! It's a shame Chef Chow's & Sichaun Gourmet in Brookline closed. Less classy, Hong Kong Restaurant (of scorpion bowl fame) in Harvard Sq, Cambridge, actually adjacent to Grafton Street, which is in the former location of the Bow & Arrow Pub. If you ant got that Brown stew lobster sauce you ant got Chinese food and Boston is the only place that has that yummy yummy in Roxbury and I lived in the Bay and that Chinese food was wack AF...
You can't be comparing Chinese food from the Bay Area or Vancouver to anything on the East Coast. Especially bulletproof hood Chinese food where they just stick some fried noodles and orange chicken into a styrofoam box and call it it dayđ Real Chinese food made for Chinese people is also usually more in the suburbs where Chinese Americans immediately move to when they're not broke anymore. Even out here in the Philly and Central NJ area you'll find more authentic Chinese food in Northeast Philly further down the Blvd or further up in Jersey. I'd assume the same is true in the Bay area and Vancouver where you see entire neighborhoods of wealthier Chinese people moving in these days who are ROLLING in dough. Different levels to this game.
Hard to find good Chinese food????? The city has a legit Chinatown, tons of spots, can't go wrong with Jade garden though, spicy salt and pepper pork chops will change your life!!
I use to go to the Caribbean places in Springfield til this black guy was kinda rude to me and this other guy went running out and they blocked my car inâŠit was a lil too much adventurous for lunch

Well SF is closer to Asia by a lot so that makes sense lol
Yea and you'll have better snowball fights in the North pole...
Most of the donut places are ran by the Vietnamese
