That Archon nudge was so ridiculously smooth
could you explain that one please? I've seen archon nudge against forcefields to break them. is this something similar
@@chanwo_opark Sort of the reverse, actually. At 4:38 the Archon, mid transformation, is about to be hit by the Corrosive Bile. However, as the unit isn't locked to that spot (unlike zerg transformations) he can use his other units to move the archon out of the way.
You don't often see people actually utilizing that mechanic, so it's definitely a big brain move.
That sOs play is amazing. 3 200IQ plays in a row. I didn't see the sentry coming either which made it 100% better
OH MY GOD YOU INCLUDED NESTEA VS (NOBODY CARES WHO HE IS) THE HIGHEST IQ MOMENT IN GSL HISTORY
Its annoying because without watching nestea back then..... i already did shit like this..... just not fast enough i guess 😒🙄 we north americans have to learn better dicipline and we might be frontiers once again..... hell we do it in real lige. Why not in the gaming world.?!?!?!?!? 😒🙄
@@REALAMERICANMAN531 Right? Who doesn't use overlord poop on a constant basis? It's my favorite thing to try to utilize.
@stop censorship *whole
I remember watching this in HS and getting my mind blown.
With a little bit of context, Nestea dominated in creative ways when Zerg was arguably the weakest race.
This is some crazy stuff! I loved the helion bait trap.
Maybe I'm missing some more info, but how does putting the hellion over the mines help that in any way? Astrea didn't even react until the shots were in the air anyway. Or was it because the hellion was previously scouted by something and expecting the phx to go for it. Wouldn't just putting the mines there, without the hellion, produce the same results?
@@bobzombie2710 The Helion is the bait. He cannot see the mines. Astrea thought it was a scouting unit. Without the helion the phoenix wouldnt have turned around.
Shoutout WaveCaptain IQ for getting all these clips together
DUUUUDE! This is so true!
I was wondering in the bonus clip, why no shield battery, and then why no instant charge attack on void ray, and then I saw it - the void ray charged up while attacking. This is like 10yo clip from early wol, or even from beta :)
I love these clips, playing SC2 like an actual Strategy game
The drone drill reaction was lovely
Will never get tired of SC2 and the SC franchise in general, no matter what people say 🔥
"Ha! The warp prism you killed was only a phantom!"
sOs vs herO game was so sick, with the flanking sentry to add insult to injury
You missed that one play where Serral (if I remember correctly) Mineral walks his drones around his own natural to get the surround on a ling flood. The clip doesn't seem to be on youtube but I was hoping to find it here.
I freakin´ love these Bonus Clips! So nostalgic
Oh how I just love watching people play start craft holy hell
Great upload thank you
Remembered when I watched that spine rush live. Such a moment!
Keep up the good work
Bro the disrespect to see that your last building is about to die in a live pro game, and NOT letting them kill it for the satisfaction! Come on!
Are you talking about SoS vs Hero? It looks like SoS was using Hero's Gateways as a wall/choke to stop Hero from walking up the ramp and killing him. That's why the stalkers were dancing. - Hero's army was larger. Then near the end SoS raced his stalkers over to kill Hero's last pylon.
@@DJTheodis Yes, I saw all that. I just think that if I was Hero, I would have let SoS kill the last building when I knew it was going to happen, give them the satisfaction
@@DJTheodis You just wanted to let that out didn't you? You just wanted to explain it to someone even if it wasn't needed.
Yea but it's actually respectful to write gg in this kind of situation and leave, so I disagree on that with you and I'd prefer to play against the pro who accepts defeat instead of choosing imaginary death for his protoss race.
Wrong. There's no "satisfaction" of killing buildings when you know you've already won. The satisfaction is found at the point in which you realize you've won your match... everything afterwards is just a waste of time and is keeping you from starting another match sooner. So "sitting around and dragging it out" by making your opponent KILL EVERYTHING THEMSELVES instead of just ending the game when you have lost is actually something which is extremely disrespectful, and in fact is just GRIEVING.
So, if you think that it's disrespectful to "end the game at a point LONG AFTER the match is already decided" because someone who has played TENS OF THOUSANDS of games needs to "see another building be destroyed by his army" for some reason, then you are the overwhelming trashcan nub, and shouldn't even be playing SC2. Trash garbage.
Artosis fanboying nestea is a classic
Amazing video!
Hearing tastosis again has me in 😭 😭 😭 😭
2:23 the 200iq play is that terran did a drop play?
You can do the last play with a proxy hatch too. Was doing it in wings of liberty. You can't do that play if the natural is up a ramp. Its more effective on level ground.
The point is that the last play is significantly faster and cheaper than a proxy hatch as well as being a lot harder to respond to
@@shulongzhao absolutely not faster and also not cheaper since you need a lair for overlord pooping, toss also has shield batteries now so this just wouldn't work nowadays
lol back in the day I would proxy the spire with overlord poop or jam 1 spine on their hatchery and surround it with evo chambers
We need Scarletts hidden burrowed banes! But great video!
that wasn't included bc it's a 400IQ play. 😎
I watched the one by "Cure" at 2:23 TWICE, because I could not tell what the "200 IQ play" was, and thought I had potentially missed something... but it was literally just a standard marine drop with widow mine at an expo... what the HELL was so "ingenious" about it? It's fundamental, standard play...
Even the play behind that one, what the HELL is unique about it? THE BLUE PLAYER HAD 3 RAVENS, AND HE USED ONE OF THE PRIMARY ABILITIES WHICH THE RAVEN HAS, TO DROP SENTRY GUNS. HE DIDN'T EVEN USE IT TO KILL ANY PROBES, HE JUST KILLED A COUPLE OF "ADD-ONS" WHICH HIS OPPONENT HAD INSTALLED ON BUILDINGS IN HIS BASE, AND THEN FLEW AWAY. WHAT IN THE GODDAMN HELL IS THE "200 IQ PLAY", AND WHY DOES THIS VIDEO HAVE A SINGLE "LIKE" ON IT?!?!?!?!
YOU MUST BE A GODDAMN FAKING NOOB.
AND THE CLIP AT 4:40 WITH "STATS PUSHING THE ARCON OUT OF THE WAY" WAS NOT EVEN A DELIBERATE FAKING ACTION!!! HIS IMMORTALS WERE ON "ATTACK MOVE" AGAINST THE ROACHES HE WAS ENGAGING WITH, AND THE ROACHES BACKED UP, SO THE IMMORTALS JUST MOVED CLOSER TO THEM SO THAT THEY COULD STAY IN FIGHTING RANGE. THE ONLY MOVE WHICH WAS DELIBERATE WAS HIM PULLING THEM BACK, AND IT JUST "HAPPENED" TO LOOK LIKE HE PUSHED THE ARCHON DELIBERATELY. HOWEVER, THAT WAS JUST COINCIDENCE, AND SHIT LIKE THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.
THE COMMENTATORS JUST HAVE TO OVER-HYPE WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE MATCH IN ORDER TO MAKE IT SEEM MORE "EPIC", JUST BECAUSE THEY SAY THAT STATS "DID IT DELIBERATELY", THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT TRUE. ANYONE WHO HAS PLAYED MORE THAN A SINGLE HOUR OF SC2 WOULD RECOGNIZE THAT THIS WAS JUST COINCIDENCE, YOU GODDAMN FAKING STINKY NUB.
yeah that was stupidly simple
"Steph Curry and STEVEN PIPPEN"
The last clip having them boasting about how they didn't see anything like that in lifetime appears like in each third episode of Alex007's "Amateurs' Games" series
I guess you learnt the origin then
1:07 👌
Came here from Reddit. Great video.
whats the iq play from cure (2:20)? just a doomdrop? i dont get it
protected the probes
@@csuszi11 He's not talking about the goddamn probes, that's not the play which was timestamped. The probes was the END OF THE PLAY BEFORE IT. He's talking about the TvZ and he's correct, there's ZERO unique or ingenious aspects about it, it's literally a TEXTBOOK STANDARD Terran drop, with widow mine burrowing at one of the expos. There's nothing clever about it in the slightest... that kind of play is required to even get into Diamond league, not to mention Master's or GM's... they ALL do this.
@@BayMacDre415 I think you should get a chill pill it is a fun yt clip nothing more :D
When people are tired of the cannon rush. So, they spine rush them instead
lol the archon died 1 second after he saved it
I don't get the keeping the gateways un upgraded thing. Can someone explain?
the enemy player will scout the two gateways at the front near the natural expansion's ramp. so in order to convince them that it isn't a gateway build you leave those 2 gateways untransformed.
@@alexandergunderson1036 Thanks!
I be done that spine crawler creep dump before. I lost this stil cuz my son is like 60 tho
I miss sOs
Steven pippen haha
Do people not tower rush in sc2?
It's a thing, just very uncommon for zerg to do in non ZvZ matchups. The most common is proxy photon cannon rushes done by protoss players, it's the bane of low mmr ranked games. Terran have proxy barracks in marines with bunkers built in your natural expansion. Zerg doesn't have that luxury due to only being able to build on creep, so that's why it was impressive to do in non ZvZ (since you can build on opponents creep in the mirror match)
Can someone explain Stats at 4:45
archons can't move while morphing, but can be pushed around by other units. Rogue biled the archon, because it couldn't move out of the bile, but stats pushed the achon further with the immortals out of the bile
8:20 eh, sos has blink, ofc he is faster n its not insane at all, maybe they r talking abt hero not trying to kill the pylon and nexus
Steven pippen
Spine crawler rush has been a bronze league thing for years lol. We just always forget to build other things while our spine crawlers are attacking lmao
that clip is from like 10 years ago
alg
i don't get the keen-innovation game
He killed the tech lab getting the stim upgrade, AND the only other tech lab, so he can't switch the barracks over.
