Hellooo, gun cranks! As a retired railroad engineer, I would almost volunteer to run the train across the Pacific and Indian oceans, but that trip may exceed the federal hours of service laws. Favorite tannerite moment was at our local club's machine gun shoot (which we no longer hold due to unavailability of insurance). They put 20 pounds of the stuff at our 200 yard line and set it off. No bad stuff happened, safety did rule but the report was something else. I live 2.5 miles away and our dogs reacted to the explosion, according to The Wife.

The caliber of the rifle that the guy shot and ended up in the chair is a .577 Tyrannosaur NPOT a 4 gauge.

Great show, but you missed the DEA agent who after stating that he was the only one in the room qualified to handle a .40cal glock shoot himself in the leg while holstering it.

Really tough decision between "hat guy" and "recoil mouth guy". I'd have to give my vote to "hat guy" because he's lucky to be alive. Love the video as always.

That last one reminds me of the time they tried to blow up the dead whale on the Oregon coast.
It rained down putrid dead whale meat for a quarter mile radius, and even destroyed a car from a giant piece of the falling blubber!

I remember when there was a tragedy at Knob Creek full auto shoot years ago, a father let his young son, under 10 if I remember correctly, shoot a full auto by himself. The recoil took the gun right back into the boys head firing full auto.

They blew a whale apart like that on here on the Orygun coast a few decades back.
It was very similar, only BIGGER!
    Look it up.

I get a maximum height of that ball, given a flight time of six seconds, to be just a hair under 144 feet.

Hey there is another video at the 10 minute mark that you all did not mention. Looked like tanerite gone way wrong.

OMG - I have known some incredibly stupid idiots in my 66 years - but the shotgun 'incident' actually made my 'a-hole' pucker! But the rifle shooter definitely rated tops for abject stupidity. If you know him, tell him I've got a good dentist that helped ME after trying to jump a bus on a dirt bike in my mid-fifties! Hold my beer!

Hi, guys. My first day as a range safety officer I had a guy get a click instead of a bang with a 1911 and immediately looked down the bore! after I yelled a cease fire and “corrected” the gentleman he said (no kidding) oh, it’s OK had had my finger off the trigger!
Buy that guy a warm beer.
    Be safe,
    Sarge

Annual??? Oooohhh noo, this must be semi annual at least, monthly at best. Trust me, there is enough examples to keep rolling for awhile. And invite Clint Smith in as guest reviewer!

Okay I have to agree with Roy. Shotgun looking down the barrel was near suicidal.
As far as the Hog explosion, ida set up that night for some predator hunting! Heck maybe 3 nights lol
We would hunt over dead cows for coyotes all the time here in Missouri. The rancher would call and say I hauled it away out here, go git em! 🤠

I can't even WATCH Mr. Shotgun Hat--MAN! That was just God looking out for an idiot (like he has done for me). As for doubling the big X-Frames, I know TWO different pairs of guys where 1/2 of the team was glad he didn't go to the range alone to shoot that .500 for the first time! Two guys doubled and caught the hammer spur in the forehead with trips to the ER for stitches---thankfully ONLY stitches. These guys were shooters too! Load ONE the first time. Oh yeah, and don't rest your elbows on a concrete shooting bench!!!
