  • Our life unfolds through our karma, We create it and then work with it as it activates and manifests in our life. How does is work and how can we improve it? Goswami Kriyananda, of the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago, explains. www.templeofkriyayoga.org

    My Karma is to write this and yours is to read it. So simple.
    It seems that the less that we 'know' (experience), the more words and notions we need to talk about it. Perhaps a rendition of "If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with b*llsh*t!"
    My experience is that Karma/Maya/Mortality, is a perfectly balanced Universe, at every moment.
    As features of a perfectly balanced Universe, at any and every moment of our lives is considered Karma; a reflection of the perfection all around us.
    Karma exists, in this form, no matter the emotions/feelings/thoughts of the 'observer'.
    Every moment of our lives = perfection, Karma.
    Dealing with the balance of perfection, believing the 'reflection' to be independent reality, that the 'material' world is all we have makes us mortal!
    We identify with the conditional, mortality, the Maya world of illusion, our Universe.
    To pass from mortality to immortality we must find unconditional Love/Enlightenment/Salvation! This state is transcendent to the 'game of make believe', the mortal.
    Once we identify with the state of Unconditional Love, 'we' become immortal.
    Local traditions of reincarnation is just more Karma, mortality, acceptance of a feature of the illusion as Reality. 'Time' is an illusion.
    All exists at once, every moment, everywhere, all at once.
    Here is how you and I can recognize and practice Unconditional (Immortal, beyond mortality) Love;
    If the Love is unconditional, the 'symptoms' will be the unconditional Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (Charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith...
    ALWAYS!
    Knowing this, one takes the comings and goings of life, the pains and pleasures (all perfection) with peaceful equanimity, walking the middle way, practicing unconditional Love in the midst of Armageddon.
    Wow, what a lot of words! I guess that it isn't as easy as I imagined! heh
    God Bless Armageddon (Karma)!
    Namaste'
