  • On July 15th 2012, at Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan, a baseball game is about to begin using 1867 rules when Theodore Roosevelt arrives in a Model T Ford to throw out the first pitch and address the crowd. Prior to Teddy's arrival, the umpire explains some of the rules such as no spitting or swearing. And mitts are not used because it is considered "unmanly".
