- I'm slowly learning video editing and was going through old files. I found this from a couple years ago in the fall which is why I'm bundled up. This isn't how I would rig anymore so this isn't a how-do video. I have the wrist brace because I hurt my wrist a few months prior. This is one of the higher buildings I've done on ropes.

I literally came here to pump myself up for a game and adrenaline rush and this man is calm as can be lol just another day
Did the same job today all day...👍💪
Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹
Nice work, love the background music.
Great vid👍🏻 respect from Amsterdam, Europe
You haven't posted anything new in a while. Hope all is well. I like your videos. Hope to see a new one soon.
Also cool music.
I'll probably make one on the next building because it's a post-construction cleaning so it will be something new. I just felt like like it was a little repetative with standard cleaning haha.
Having to do my first 35 storey soon. Kinda nervous went from 8 storeys to 15 now I’m jumping to 35 lol only got my level one irata a couple months ago 🤗
It's all in your head if you fall 4 floors your dead just take your time and be safe always don't go near the edge not tied up to something intended for you and just think next time you go on that 15 story you will laugh 😅
gains
Started with 4 floors, sky rocketed to 61 floors, trick i used for the first time i tried not to look directly down kkkkk kinda worked.

Just be careful and follow the safety rules as always if you did a 8 story then you should be fine but if your nervous this could not be a possibility job for you if you afraid of heights think wisely.
Awesome hypnotic tunes bro
Love your vids, would be great to see some new stuff!
Nice Job. Like the way you tight knot.
You have to keep an eye on how it dresses but for a figure eight it's pretty fast when you're tying lots all day.
TIMBERLAND PR BOOTS BROUGHT ME HERE
Ever how much your paycheck is, it's not enough. Good video.
ahhh hell nah, when you looked over the edge!! you should come to london my building is tall af
Looking down is the best part if you live for Heights 🤔🤙🏼
Good Clean work 💪👷
They really dont want you to clean all of the corners after washing away ?
My 4yers experience this work . now working in Malaysia.i want this jop I need
Whats the music it's great . I'm not a abseiler but is just a double 8 figure knot that's holding you to the point ?
Start my training next week any advice from anyone would be helpful.
Congrats on 550 subs your content is cool
Hey man, that window on the right was a two swipe. Should be hanging your ropes to catch the one on the left as well; you’d make a few extra dollars saving time grabbing extra drops. Just saying..

I am considering getting my IRATA, and SPRAT, but honestly is the pay worth this kind of risk? i mean 27$ per hour is not a lot to be hanging 300 meter's off the ground is it? does not seem like enough
Easy work bruh dont have to talk or listen to no one easy money splash and swoosh
Its only hard when the glass is hot from the sun and you gotta move quicker
@@Tomahawk8989 cool
Ty
300 meters WTF are you talking about
Once you’re above around 20m, the height stops making a difference. It’s only your mind that tells you the higher you are, the more dangerous it’s is. Trust your kit, trust your training and trust your colleagues, and the salary starts to seem reasonable. It’s not an exceptionally dangerous job if you follow the rules. Deviate, and you’ll start to encounter danger
👍👍👍
Hello blza dear friend your videos are great I always see congratulations, I see that you always put a side rope on the main ones that you go down, why?
lol to avoid dying :P That's the short answer. If my main line were to fail for some reason the backup line would catch me. There is no reason my main line should fail if you're doing everything properly. But it's always good to be twice as safe.
☝️May I ask... : 🤔
What's the mm of the ropes you are using...? Both
Which dissender are you using...?
It's 11mm rope and in this video I was using a Petzl ID but they wear our fast. I really like the Skylotec Sirius.
Yeah well... In my opinión (for being that I am in Argentian and Petzl it's UNbuyable) the "real McCoy" it's an steel 8 dissender, with an 8mm prussik rope. That combo provides anti-panic and slow-fast disending, and it's cheep to replace (the prussik rope ring), and also easy to use in self-rescuing...
BOOM... 🎤(dropped the mic)🎤

☝️Is it legal to work as a high rise window cleaner like that...? 👆
This is probably a dumb question, but do need to have experience working with heights or cleaning windows on houses and stuff? Or can you just apply with no experience and get trained if you get in.
I think just like any job some places would train to hire it all depends that’s all
You do need a Rope Access Certification tho
Also there’s no such thing as a dumb question the dumb question is the one you don’t ask 🤙🏼😅👌🏼
How long does it take to do this job?
How much is the remuneration for doing this kind of service per day?
or per month
I work in this branch here in Brazil
75$ a hour up to 150$
@@bsotelo60 $US? Lol bs
Yo man! Awesome work , though , I get why you use the ninja handle, but the ergotec channel? Did you like it and worked for you?? Because I've tried so much but just can't get the hang of that channel😂
I don't mind the channel and like how easy it is to change the rubber but it's too heavy. I use a Sorbo channel with the Ninja handle now.
@@BrodyYYC yea it is , I think the end clips were just to bulky for me. The handle is amazing , but same here , I've been using the viper channel. Which one do you use ? Have you ever used the moerman handle or channel? Or is it different in high rise ? I do commercial and residential so might be different
I don’t understand Why you didn’t set a Y- hand when you were doing the rigging? I do get the point about the deviation you did. But even when you set two independents point for each rope still not safety enough. You should’ve done also alpine butterfly knots plus the figure 8 you did... good window cleaning though 👍🏻 be safe bro.
You'll see in my most recent video I'm about to post that I did combine the 2 for a load share. This video was from years ago so I was still learning. That was the way I was taught thought. Looking back I wouldn't have done things the same way.
BrodyYYC 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
a basic anchor system is fine, you don't NEED to y hang to follow irata.. but putting 3 lines on one anchor is the main problem here lol
Where can I buy those type of gloves?
Probably any automotive place should have them I think Home Depot might even. They're made out of nitrile. You want the heavier duty black ones so they don't rip.
Do you worry that those anchor points on the roof degrade over time?
They get inspected pull-tested and certified on a regular basis and the reports are always available.
Quanto se ganha para fazer esse tipo de serviço aí em sua cidade ?
$25 - $30 Dolares canadienses meu irmao
have you ever spit to ground from top?
lol I did that enough as a kid from balconies to know it just breaks up before it hits the ground. I remember spending like 45 mins doing it off my friends uncles 18th floor balcony in Edmonton when we were like 13. The game was to have it actually hit the ground but I don't think either of us ever won.
Working very slow I m also working in Malaysia last 6 years and working speed very good
How do you feel about lone working? Any rescue plans in place?
You can't work alone under SPRAT.
@@BrodyYYC I didn’t think you would be able to, just didn’t see anyone so was curious
@@user-zx2mm5ch6p I was just focused on what I was doing so I wasn't really looking to the side but if you look close you'll be able to see their ropes rigged next to mine.
hello good what a good video where you are working I would like to be able to work by your side I hope to do it I am from Mexico and with many years of experience in rope access I hope to be able to contact you
Bueno
can someone tell me what speech is at the begining of the video? Very inspiring one!
I'm pretty sure it's Alan Watts.
@@BrodyYYC sounds like him. But I can not find the right speech
what kind of fur coat do you have?
What size line is your favorite to work on?
I like 11mm.

I m indian i m interested this job
hi, im starting out with a company that does rope access. first i need to learn how to clean windows but i took the job because i love heights. im about 30 pounds overweight due to a leg injury about i sustained a year ago so i wantred to know how much physical strenghth you need to pull yourself back with your gear?
It's a more physical job than you would expect especially depending on the size of building. I also see a lot of people get into it cuz they have previous experience with rope access but have no window cleaning experience. I won't lie both are a big learning curve. I think people think "it's just cleaning windows" or that you just have to not be afraid of heights. It's not so much the physicality of pulling yourself anywhere but more the overall job. Like you don't have a Sherpa to bring your ropes and gear up and haul your ropes up. I recommend getting a squeegee and scrubber at home and practicing for hours. Hopefully the company you're working with wont let you do anything stupid :P So learn the basics of rope access since I hope they are obviously rigging for you and then just hone your skills. Obviously safety is the number one since without that you can die but also window cleaning isn't as easy as most people assume. With that being said you will totally get it with practice.
"Dad, what did you do for a little extra cash during college?" .............................
I can rig my drop up and do my drop so much easier and faster. Time and safety are the biggest concern. You are very good window cleaner but I need to make money and drops are money. I don't know but you may be a rookie. I've done this for over 30 years. I would smoke you , keep up the good work brother. Not being rude just busting your chops ! Lol. That's what us window cleaners do to each other.
Be Safe !! God Bless
This is an old video it was my first season and they assumed since I was a good window cleaner I knew what I was doing. The guys made sure I didn't die but I do things much different now. My 2 more recent and the one before this are much better examples. Even those are a bit old now because I typically just build proper Y-hangs.
Hi Doozy,, I'm in Fl and looking to get trained in doing high rise rope propelling for window cleaning,,so far just trying to get started on the "how too's" has proven difficult,, I can't even find the requirements needed here in Fl to do so....any tips on how to get started please?..
No one cares doozy
UNA CAÍDA A ESA ALTURA PODRÍA SER PELIGROSA!!!!!!
Why are you working alone ? Thats some next level bullshit
what makes you think I'm working alone? Just because I'm not directly next to someone?
0:15 do you think I just rig multiple ropes along the building and then jump from one to the next?
Mate, your angel of your diversion is at or over 120. At a bare minimum double your diversion rope and biners or don't post these videos at all.
Read the description this isn't a how-to and it's a super old video.
too slow. I own blue hawaii window cleaning doing since 85 im 70 and im way faster then you guys I still hang today ,, you do 2 pieces and do it in 3 sections I would drop my lines in the middle of the 4 plates and do 4 at a time you stop and do the gas without reaching. you can do that in 2 sections you don't move you sit like your at the breakfast table we only use suction to swing far over to get those plates so you can do 4 at a time if you moved that slow I would replace you with a girl they are faster and better ex 82nd airborne. watch hawaii guys they race to see who gets down first aloha
Doesn't sound like a company I would ever want to work for. But I guess if bragging about how much better you are than everyone is your thing it may be the place to go work :) Also this video is like 7 years old.
no one gives a fuck dip shit
