Choke hitch on a sling reduces swl by 20% not 50%, double it over increases swl by double eg 1t =2t. I worked with rope access on oil rigs (dope on a rope) as we call them 😂 anyway fantastic work. Also a good tip is to wear thin gloves when fitting because them lvl 5 impact gloves is like wearing oven gloves when fitting screws ect.

i feel like the softener for the rope could stand to be a little longer/wider just cause ya know... variables. also, i bet dogs and cats cannot believe what they're indeed seeing when you stroll past their windows.
@@cliveramsbotty6077 slab edge cavity barrier seems fucked, my oppinion if they are trying to compartment the floors which is standard practice nowa days, Should be Z-clips spit gunned into slab, and then rockwool SP60 cavity barrier installed nice and tight, then taped correctly.
How does one even train to do a job like this? Maan also, great thing you get to rappel all the way down, it would have been way more stressful if you had do pull yourselves back up I reckon

Costs nowt to throw an alpine butterfly in and chuck a cows tail in though if you don’t have another backup device 😅
I'd be more worried about hanging in the croll without a hand ascender above it. That is only allowed when stationary and plumb, i.e NOT mid transfer. No reason not to put it on first, you need it to change over anyway.

Pretty much a bad idea high rise maintenance seems the architectural design is lacking thought really...cladding was a disaster and this work? Maybe revolving frames might work 🤔

Thin glove and I cut my index tip of the glove off and the tip of my thumb glove off for easier handling.
Impact gloves were a dream when removing the slip bricks and you accidentally hit your knuckles on the walls

It took 1 hour to remove cladding - but the repairs take up to 8 hours

We are blessed , management let us park personal vehicles in the underground garage while work vans are allowed on the hard standing
