It's not on sale yet/hasn't been tested yet. There are three ~2,000 hp EV hypercars that will be able to do 0-60 in < 2 sec, but not on sale yet: Rimac, Battista, Evija.
The Chiron Pur Sport doesn’t have 1600hp (8:05), it has 1500. The reason for the faster acceleration is the shorter gear ratios. Only the Centodieci and the Super Sport 300+ have the 100hp upgrade compared to the Chiron.

Im confused why the urus is even number 1, he just did a race with the x6m and it beat it from the start twice and was almost dead even in the roll when they got it right, the urus 0 to 60 is 3.6 seconds but carwow has recorded the x6m to 60 in 3.4. the 1/4 time from different owners and races, Urus fastest 1/4 time i can get from all these other sources does it in 11.6 seconds while the fastest 1/4 time from the x6m stock is 11.4. Urus is faster in speed and x6m is quickest to 60 and 1/4.
@@aidenp5768 I think he's going of manufacturer claims, his results would differ from the performance in a different environment obviously and when testing 0-60 cars are usually put in perfect environments using racing fuel ect, but they always squeeze the most out of it despite it's unrealistic conditions
@Achim Anscheidt nah it's actually written in the contract that koenigsegg owners cant do Drag races and record them without the consent of Koenigsegg. It's widely known that koenigsegg cars underperform heavily in the real world (wheel spin, no traction, malfunctions, etc). They are Garage queens nevertheless
It would be interesting to know for how many consective launches the Teslas will maintain their 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph). It would also be interesting to know whether they can also maintain their performance on a track for a good number of laps. Now that's a couple of tests CARWOW could do...
Technically the answer is 1... To reach the 1.9 second speed the Tesla has to enter its cheetah stance. The Tesla lowers the front so the weight shifts correctly when it takes off. Also because of heat management the slower Porsche electric would win on the track. It would lose a drag race to a Tesla but over a prolonged race the Porsche can maintain higher performance for a longer amount of time.
As much as I like speed, you would never need this much power of the roads. 500-600hp is the sweet spot where all the power is usable and the car can be pushed to the limits. Looks like I’m sticking with my 911 GT3 thanks.
What limits ? Top speed ? Accelaration ? You cannot push any of those on a 500-600hp car without doing crazy speeds. If you are willing to do them, you can also do it in a 1000hp car. Nobody "needs" a 500hp car.
I think its for cars that are currently in production, the 918 would have been mentioned for the fastest convertible and the Chiron 300+ would have been here also

I have no doubt it will at the very least do the 60 in 2.1 with that extra 300hp. 1.9? I wouldn't doubt that either. Why would you? I can't think of a time Tesla wrongly published incorrect performance numbers so there's no precedent for that. They published 2.5 for the S and many people did that. Then 2.3 and they verified that as well. Watch Brooks from Dragtimes, he's done it many times. Of course like everything, the conditions needs to be right but don't downplay it like they're not fast in 0-60. Everyone knows they're fast in the 60.

I'll still take the 911 Turbo S. It still speaks to me unlike any other car. The quickest car I've owned was my '17 Focus ST. It was a challenge to launch but once it hooked up, that torque just pulled like crazy.

Back in the day 1995. For my 40th, my wife/kids hired me a Ferrari 348 for 24hrs. 0-60 was quarter as 6 seconds. Slow by todays standards - Most hot hatches are way faster.
