You know what time it is… Time for another EPIC carwow drag race! We’ve got Mat in a Nissan GT-R NISMO, and he’s going up against an Audi R8 V10 Performance & a Porsche 911 Turbo S!
But how do they compare? First up, Mat’s GT-R NISMO is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 which can produce 600hp & 650Nm. The R8 alongside him has a 5.2-litre V10 with 625hp & 590Nm of torque. And then finally we have the Porsche, which has a 3.8-litre flat-six turbo to produce 650hp & 800Nm.
So, there's one thing they have in common - they’re all absolutely awesome machines! But of course, there can only be one winner - so who’s your money on? We know how quick the 911 Turbo is, so it may be a foregone conclusion when it comes to who snatches the win... But could Mat snatch second place from Yianni in the Audi R8?

Keep in mind the Bugatti testing team did theirs at 200mph then 230mph before the real tests. The 3tri mount is awesome. People use them on highway runs well over 200mph on extensions!

I’ve seen this video and I feel like with this lineup everyone was a winner. Personally I’ve been into the GTR name since the early nineties, but the older I get the more and more I love Porsche especially with this generations body style

I am a Nismo fan and had r35s until now. + 3 R34s. Nismo needs to fix that Auto mode in that Nismo r35. Doesn't make sense for that price

Nissan need to make an R36. The R35 is very old and its automatic gearbox is trash nowadays. Also they need to make a better engine because "stock" just can´t be that slow that even a V10 naturally aspirated trashes it. And lastly they need to do some serious upgrades because is just so heavy...

When did Porsche’s become the fastest cars on the road..These new 911s have been wiping the floor last few years.
The 911 turbos have always been very strong cars and ran up in the Super car leagues. Hell even way back when 400hp was something very few could brag about the 911 turbo had it. Now the standard 911's have always been just kinda sporty and in the league of cars like the corvette and whatnot.
the old versions were fast but not as fast as the new ones
Everything changed after the 997 turbo
The Mclaren 765lt is the king of the drag strip currently but it's quite a bit more of expensive at around £280,000
997 so it’s been a while mate.
Its more like whos ending 2° and last with the turbo s .

911s unreal ! When you consider how bulletproof it really is and how docile under normal driving around quietly it is ,there really is no other sports car that does so many things so well. Iconic for sure .lovely.
I have a porsche boxster, I have realized this thing in boxster too. When you are driving casually, the exhaust makes not much noise and it’s like an introvert kid in the class but above 5000 rpm it’s a beast and everyone around knows a porsche is coming.

Nice race! Rolling mode should use different gears ⚙️ depending on the car and its transmission! Like 2nd gear vs 3rd gear for some. It will make a difference on a 6-7-8-10 speed transmission. (Ratio)

Porsche 911 turbo S is one reliably fast car. I suggested that it be dragged with this BMW 5 series that got tuned to 1000hp and 1001Nm. I’m sure it’d be quite a fascinating drag.

Yeah, the GT-R is old, but the performance is still amazing even today. It may not beat other modern sports cars and supercars now, but it still keeps up well and still puts up a good fight. It just has quite a bit of turbo lag (actually i'm probably understating it, ALOT OF TURBO LAG), but when that dual clutch hooks up, it will hook up and pull. I think we can definitely say that the Porsche 911 is the better competitor compared to the GT-R, but that doesn't mean that the GT-R still doesn't deliver, because you can't go wrong with either one of these cars.
