All of Don’s band are excellent musicians but Tim is my favorite. He creates a pocket so deep you could lay down in it which is exactly what every bass player needs. He also reminds me of my favorite drummer Jeff Porcaro which is the highest compliment I could give.
Amen....is a powerfull music that give praises and Gloryfing GOD....its Amazing songs..
Your song is thirsty to my soul
I love the sound of that room ...makes those drums sound really big.

Got the rare chance to watch your concert in Dubai. It's an amazing experience. I always have an admiration for the drummer in a band. So glad to see your drummer up close.
Tim's a great guy to have in studio or on tour. Glad you got to see us in Dubai! Hopefully we'll be back soon!
I watching from Dumaguete City Negros Oriental,Philippines
LOL! You have a great sense of humour Mr Don! (Love your joke at the end)
Well if it were a joke, We had a keyboardist once who suggested I play the kit with a blanket over it. Seriously, and I'm not a loud drummer. Dumbass.
I've actually seen someone having folded blankets, inside the base drum, in a church. I kid you not! So it seems it's being done. 😄
That been done for years BUT I said "A blanket over the kit not in it"
Those drums sound perfect and love the sound ..
I just love your voice sir ! Don moen sir God have blessed you with wonderful voice.. The drummer who is playing plays awesome drums.. I have a interest in learning. Hallelujah praise the Lord 🙏🙏🙏❤
The drummer is nice and Perfect .
Hi Don, if you can leave us with a full series training for worship leaders, your legacy will be solidified. You've already raised many worshippers, but a full series would be great; ESPECIALLY for the lead singer/worship leader and the worship team.
+chislo2011 Thanks for your comment! I just uploaded the final video of the "Worship Leading Workshop" series on CZcams. You can view the full playlist for free here: bit.ly/1RZXN1Y

Woooooooooooooooooow....great.... I love the lessons....
THANKS
Yes
It was a warm sounding kit sir Don, may i know the specific model of that drum kit
Please make the videos downloadable.
nice options thou
Can I know how do u get the snare to sound like that . tq
An electric kit is also a good option. Not most drummers preference (including me) but it's a practical way to manage volume. Acoustic kits are obviously going to have a more desirable sound, but keeping them quiet can sometimes be a frustrating proposition. Plus from a recording standpoint, if you don't hit the drums with a certain amount of power, the mics won't pick up everything they need for a full sound. Electric kits aren't ideal, but they're better in that way from my experience
Great thoughts Noah! Thanks for watching and sharing. Blessings!
The probleem with an electric kit is there's no dynamics so drummer won't learn how to play softer on an electric kit
what is that unique looking shaker percussion instrument the drummer uses toward the end?
What about cross-stick on the snare
You try to play the instruments at outdoor you can see the diffrerence
Loud drumming drowning others is the main problem in almost every church.
yep its stunning how many drummers don't get it.
at or church we got a shield around it and it lowers the volume. but no one like to play with sticks and its kind of annoying
It's funny only the church musicians as this kind problems. The gear is dictated by the song concept and style not the volume. You go to small clubs, larger venues, etc and people play the song like that should sound. Only church musicians as this kind of "problems". It's a problem of mentality I guess. Not to be offensive but that's my experience.
please preach in semarang at Holy Stadium
+jeremy budiono Thanks for your comment! I hope to be back in Indonesia soon!
ok please come here quikly. I wait you
What if we were a young lad with a rock bonnet head...
Solve loud drumming, buy an electric drum set.
I used to think that was a good solution but it's really not.
