@@user-sx2jx6yn3jno it doesn't necessarily, we've had a perfectly well functioning economy for a while prior to this point in history while places like Pakistan have had a better cost of living than compared to the UK.
The two aren't tied by the hip, it depends on what those in charge do with those funds and they've frankly focused on corruption and luxury for the rich. People are at the point they couldn't care less if we have a decline in luxuries in this country if it means in exchange people can afford the basic necessities of life.
A lot of normal people don't care about the economy anymore, they see through the lies told by decades of politicians who just allow businesses to undervalue labour and waste taxpayer funds. The political system needs a complete overhaul - too many people paid in those positions with too many benefits for doing too little.

Swapping one set of WEF Global Socialist puppets for another. There is nothing remotely Conservative about the current shills. Record debt, spending, handouts, borrowing, taxation, economically inactive scroungers, illegal immigration, high inflation, government control of energy prices, closing farms to make people dependant on large state for food and soon water. Democracy is a façade now, it's about time people started waking up to this media led farce. The WEF control much of the media now. Sky News is ran by a WEF placed "Global Young Leader" called David Rhodes. You're being controlled via media lies and deception. This might sound tin foil hat territory, but if you take a step back from live TV, newspapers and the mainstream media, it's so obvious, it's embarrassing to think people fall for it.
