I always look forward to your videos! We are starting with the CMEC with my oldest in form 1b this year and I have been binging your videos!❤❤

It's like you read my mind! I knew I needed to get on prereading. Have you done a video of your book of centuries? I am really interested in starting my own for the same reasons you said!

I was so hopeful when I saw this video’s title! But really unrealistic past perhaps kindergarten/1st grade. I have 18 novels just for my 2nd and 4th graders history course… that’s not even touching any of the other materials or subject areas. Love the idea of the mom’s journal to make notes to refresh your memory/highlight key points.

This is so wonderful and helpful, thank you Larissa!

I think I would have done my prereading without notes and then still feel unprepared 😅

I’m in the CMEC too and I have a student in form 1A any chance could I get a copy of your planning reading list?

Pre reading for 6 plus kids is NOT feasible 😂

I have friends who do what they can with 6+ kids. Some of it looks like finding books on Audible or LibriVox. Also, combining subjects and books with as many kids as you can is helpful. The CMEC is great for that :)

I have never preread all my kids books. I only read a few. The nice thing about my curriculum is that each of my kids reuses the exact same books in a few years. So I don't have to pre read over again. It is getting harder now that my kids are older and more independent with their schoolwork.
