I've been homeschooling my son since the middle of his kindergarten year, but have only recently discovered Charlotte Mason's approach to education three months into my son's 8th grade year (he will be entering his sophomore year this fall). I also taught in the public school system years ago, and I'm actually still guilty of overexplaining. I still feel 'new' to CM, and I really needed these reminders.
