The real surprise is that it's still maintaining a big value in high grades (gem 2x or more the YG gem). I still think it is a function of the fact that new entrants saw the card marketed and positioned as being more important than the YG, countering the tradition (McD, Auston Draft cards). It's burnt into the minds of that sector of the hobby, the same way as a Brett Hull RC or Lindros RC. -SCC
Imo, when it's all said and done this card will be the 1989 upper deck ken Griffey jr of it's time. ( Iconic image) No other bedard card is as aesthetic as this card at the moment. Not his yg, series 2 cards, opc rainbows , game used ... His second most iconic card will be his 2020 pats team set card. (First card)

The Easter Egg will always be more because the condition issues and lower pop count than the Young Guns. It’s also his first Upper Deck card.
