My grandmother taught me a way to get rid of black heads. Just wrap some Epsom salt in a damp wet cloth and let it sit on the area until it cools off. And you can actually see the dirt on the cloth after

I like how you actually try to do these DIYs to the best of your ability unlike some other youtubers. You give it a round 2 or even 3 if you don't think you got it right the first time. Most just give up and assume that they did it properly without really trying. Great videos :)

My favorite variation of this DIY blackhead removal is to use 1 table spoon of half-and-half, 1/2 table spoon of water, and a single baggie of the unflavored gelatin. I mix them really well in a small coffee mug and BEFORE popping it in the microwave, I damp a soft paper towel with REALLY hot water and hold that on my nose (the only place I have blackheads) since this will help to really open up the pores and make this blackhead removal easier. While I hold this on my nose, I pop the mix in the microwave for 15 seconds and as soon as it's done, i quickly drop the hot paper towel and start applying the mixture to my nose with a cheap (but really soft) eyeshadow brush. Trust me, I have had many trial and errors and I find this method works best and it's a lot gentler than regular nose strips or other chemical treatments. Hope this helps! Loved this video!! :)

Oops! Almost forgot: make sure you do this on clean skin, don't exfoliate though, just wash the area to remove any excess dirt, oil, etc. After taking off the strip, rinse the area where you used the strip with cold water (as cold as you can handle) to help close your pores before you get any dirt or anything like that in them again. The moisturize (oil-free moisturizer works best)!! Gl :)

I use this all the time and it really works for me. I struggle with blackheads really bad and this is the only way that I found to get them out without paying a lot of money. I usually cleanse my face and either steam my face or put a hot wet towel on my face for a few minutes to open up my pores. I really think you should try this one again because you will be amazed and slightly grossed out by what comes out of your face :)

You don't have blackheads... What you see in your pores are called Sebaceous Filaments and are completely natural... They are needed for channeling sebum and can be removed but shouldn't. Everyone has them and so many people think that they are blackheads. Its not a judgment of cleanliness. :3 so the pin worked on exfoliating but you didn't have any blackheads from what I could see from your photos.

  • @yeseniaserrato343

This actually works, I have tried this many times and have gotten pretty decent results. The way to see the blackheads off of the "mask" is to turn the "mask" towards the sunlight or very bright light to be able too see the blackheads.

Next time you do this wash your face with really warm water prior to putting the mask on, it helps open your pores more. You will definitely see a difference! I use Elmer's non toxic white glue. Super inexpensive and safe to use on your skin, it is also smart to wash your face with cold water afterwards to your pores close right back up. :)

I did this one it worked perfect for me, cause I have really open pores, and super oily skin. I only used half a spoon of gelatin and added the liquid by drops (yes, not necesarily milk, cuz smells horrible), I use lemon generally during the night, with just ten seconds in the microwave is ready to go. It doesn't have to be totally liquid when you get it out of the microwave, more like a thick creamy texture, and when you pull it off, after it dried in your face, do it like you would with a normal strip, REALLY QUICK. Start from the bottom grabbing just a tip and peel it off quickly. Hope I helped with my comment.

I think trying it again after opening your pores with like you face over boiling water steam(I like to fill a kettle with water and put my face in front of it when it starts to blow out the vapor) or a personal facial steamer, then try this again cuz the mix will really be able to grab the black heads and pull them out, as opposed to pulling on ones that aren't as deep.

Small PSA! What you might think are black heads, are actually 'sebaceous filaments', which are completely normal, most people have them and pulling them out of the skin via strips (home-made or otherwise), your fingers, or metal extractors, is more harmful than helpful. You can damage, and rip your pores, making them even larger.
I love your videos, and you seem like a really cool person, and I don't want you to do any permanent damage to your face just for youtube!! So, yeah, that's all, I hope this doesn't sound rude ! D:

I think what you needs to do in order to remove the blackheads is to put like a warm wet cloth or put your face in warm vapor of the hot water and that will allow the pores to open . Until then you can put that solution so it can grab all the dust, bad oils and all the bad stuff in the pores.

You are supposed to pull it against the pores, So if you are doing it on your nose, you start peeling it off from the bottom of the strip

You could add tea tree oil and maybe that would make it smell better and would also be good for the black heads
