They both seem quite genuine. I'd love to have peeked in on the entire date. I found she conversed easily and well but more so without the nervous laughter. He was quite charming in a nice way. They seemed to get along and willing to get to know each other, so good luck to them both!

@@annaparga2400All these shows get edited, and it doesn’t mean it’s a sham or lie, but it can take things out of context. The way he just blurted it and she wasn’t offended the subject of weight obviously was on the table. She said he was a gentleman.
I think is wonderful that he offered to help her lose weight. In all honesty, no one wants to be overweight. She seemed great with it.
Obviously, we don't know how, why, or by whom the topic was raised, but it is a very private and sensitive issue to be discussed on a first date! I think it would have been more polite to decline to enter into such a discussion if someone was bold enough to have broached such a sensitive matter. (Edited to correct a typo. Oops!)
