  • How To Bare-Metal Foil the basics.
Bare-Metal Foil is easier than it looks. Just a few tools, and a lot of patients and you can have your car chromed to the max. So give it a try and see how you like it.

On my Revell SnapTite '63 Corvette convertible I decided to use this for the window trim. Did a YT search for tutorials and found this! Thanks, Mark!

Perfect timing on this video! I just got my first packet of BMF in yesterday. Great tutorial, and I learned a lot. I feel you about the visor, I wear one too. My 55 year old eyes ain't what they used to be. Thank you for all your content, it's awesome!

Great!!! I'm glad I could help. That visor is the one tool in the shop that I can not go without.

Excellent tutorial on Bare Metal Foil. Bare Metal Foil is really easy to work with, it is just tedious. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much. It is very easy. I just don't use it all that much, and a lot of people were asking about it.

@@grandpamarkshobbies I always have some in stock, but I don’t use it very often either. I love my Molotov pens.

Good tutorial and nice result, thanks.
I like using the small conical swabs from Hobby Lobby. They are former than regular Q-Tips.

Thank you. I use the makeup swabs from the dollar store. They aren't as good as the one's at Hobby Lobby, but the dollar store is real close to where I live. LOL

I still haven't tried the bare metal foil I use plumbers tape 👍🏿

Thanks for watching. I use plumbers tape (Foil Tape) a lot for masking for light when I'm working on my ships. This works like that but is a whole lot thinner.

I don't think any of the others that i watch would give me a link on something
They don't even respond when or if i send a comment or a question
The way i see it, you should have 100,000 subscribers, i know i've told everyone i know that does model kits about ya

Thanks a bunch. I will try to respond to every comment/question left. It's only fair that I do that. I'm here to help give back to the hobby. I've been doing this since the late 60's and it's the least I can do. I appreciate you telling everyone about my channel. It sure helps. Also let everyone know if they want they can sign in at our group page on Facebook. facebook.com/groups/1303777137055842/ We are always looking for good people to contribute to the group.
