BLIMEY mate! That is a stunning piece of kit!! "Mystery Box Nik" is the CrazyLocha of the UK. Enjoy the build(s) Mike 🙂 See you later in the week for the Whippet group build. Be seeing you
Oh very nice! He’s a very generous fella. I think this is perfect for you as in my head you’re the WW1 modelling Subject Matter Expert 👍🏼 Look after yourself mate. Ian
Hi Bearded Veteran! I have positives and a negative to say. First the positives, I really like your channel I saw you streaming one day a few weeks ago and used that to sub to your channel. I like your videos please keep them coming now a negative, I'm sorry about this but why do you use those emoji characters in your videos? I honestly don't feel it needs it and it makes it look like something kids would watch. Please don't be too upset by this, I just thought you should know and I watch anyway, but yes the little characters really don't belong, sorry
Thanks for the feedback and thank you for subscribing I really appreciate it 🙂 The little characters are more to create movement where there isn't any. For example if it's a 10, 20 plus second clip of nothing changing on the screen and just me talking over it then the mind begins to wonder and it's easy for people to stop listening (kind of like death by powerpoint). Where as if there's the occasional movement it keeps the mind engaged as it detects the motion and the brain wants to know whats going on so it's less likely to wander. I agree they are a little childish but I can't think of a way to generate that same effect whilst also displaying the information clearly for long enough to get across what I'm saying. As I said I do agree with you, I just need to figure out a way of keeping the clips containing what is essentially very dry info interesting visually.
Nik is an absolute legend. And he's got a hell of a sense of humour too. I'm sure you'll do it justice Mikey!
:) cheers buddy and I hope I get to know him better as time goes on 🙂
