Apple Watch SE // Still worth it in 2023?

- The Apple Watch SE has been out for nearly a year now. This video discusses whether or not this is the best value Apple Watch you can currently buy in 2023. After using both the Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra, this watch is impressing me just as much as those and I think it has something to do with the fact this can be purchased for less than £300! Trying to figure out which one to buy? Hopefully this video will help!

I’ve had mine for over two years and it’s been excellent so far with nothing really lacking, except, like you, I do wish it had an always on display.
Had my SE 44 since 2021 no issues
I’ve had mine for almost a year and have had zero issues with it. It does everything I want. Build quality is very good and I see no reason to upgrade for the foreseeable future.

I’ve been thinking about getting one, and I was wondering about the fitness aspects. Do you still have to pay for apple fitness to get the more advanced features? (Like specific workout tracking)
Got my gen 1 in January ‘21 such a great watch. However, had to upgrade to gen 2 bcuz os upgrade 9.5.1 destroyed the battery life🤔. 9.6.2 fixed it a tad but the battery got hosed with the newer updates. Miss my gen 1 but gen 2 fits all my straps and face plates.
Is 2nd Gen (Or any other entry level econo) significantly better or reason to switch into it over SE 1st gen?

Can I connect se with ipad
I love the watch but I can’t justify the lack of always on display.. I’d prefer to get an older flagship watch like a s6 or s7

I’m getting apple watch se 1st gen for us$159 for 44mm cellular model is it good time to buy it right now. And I’m a student
I’d wait until next week, see what Apple release at the event and then make a decision! SE prices might even drop after that event so I’d hold off for now👍

As far as I’m aware, you can only pair one iPhone to a single Apple Watch
You can connect multiple watches to a single iphone in case your family member has no iphone but only for Gps and Cellular. I read this on Apple website.
