To be fair 99 probably barley knew cut up or droid bait and he wanted to I give hevy his badge back and the droids attacked before he could ask about the rest
Honestly good question. I'm guessing that regardless of who survived the Rishi Moon, he would've asked the remaining members about Hevy since he left such an impact on 99
Hevy displayed a lot of great leadership and strategical qualities. He was the first of the Domino Squad to think outside the box and find new angles when they didn't have their gear. Qualities like these are highly sought after for ARC troopers. Honestly speaking, if he had lived, he would definitely be promoted to Arc trooper. And probably will design his armor with a 99 symbol after his friend's death. Personally, I think Hevy would have died after Echo's supposed death. I can see him and Fives fight in the Umbara arc and be vocally againt Krell's suicidal orders. As for his death, I can imagine a episode where Hevy makes his last stand. Protecting a injured Fives/others and making his final stand by as this episode showed, blowing up along with swarms of droids/maybe a Separtist commander.
I think we can all agree, when this dropped in 2009 or whenever, hevy was one of our favorites and made us love the clones even more. This is the first time, in my memory, a clone made a major sacrifice for the republic…. Quite literally a legend
Tech had a decent amount of development too. So did echo a little. But yeah inly them and crosshair. The side characters had more than the main characters
@@KupiecKorzenny_EmhyrVarEmreis Athaya M.A Siregar is saying that Fives and Echo had experimental phase 2 armor, but Rex and Cody had phase 1 armor at the Citadel episode.
Thank you so much for putting these videos together. If you plan to do any more, I would love to see videos for Hardcase, Dogma or Tup. Hevy was a truly great character. By the time Domino Squad get to end of their training he's clearly at the end of his tether. He has dreams of being an ARC Trooper, and he wants to lead, but he doesn't know how. Hevy tries his best but alternates between losing his temper and losing hope. He was not only pulled out of the depths of despair by 99, but he seemed to be the only clone who was truly grateful for everything 99 did for them, and him in particular. I always s smile when he asks Echo about "nothing to repeat?" But I didn't notice until I rewatched this compilation that just before the final test Hevy checks in with Droidbait and asks him about his shoulder, because he finally understands a true leader has to care about the men he leads. When Hevy downplays his role as leader and says they were a team and gratefully says how lucky he was to have 99 as his brother. The look on 99's face when Hevy gives him his graduation medal and says "you deserve it you're one of us," shows that he's both shocked and really touched by the gesture, but even more so by Hevy's words. As a clone entirely on his own, who never got to do what he was bred for, or even leave Kamino, that would have meant everything to 99. When Domino Squad are on Rishi Moon, Hevy is bored out of his skull. He doesn't understand why they haven't been posted to the front lines, nor does he understand the importance of the outpost's purpose. But he quickly realises that sometimes the war comes to you, and when everyone on Rishi gets killed apart from him, Echo and Fives it shakes him up. But he realises with Sergeant O'Niner gone, someone has to lead. He rises to the occasion and does his best, while Echo and Fives are still quiet and uncertain like the shinies they all are. When Rex and Cody arrive, he shows grit and determination and impresses Rex. But he's still a rookie with a sense of humour and a love of heavy weaponry. When Hevy realises that the outpost is the only hope to warn Kamino of the impending attack by Grievous, it quickly dawns on him the gravity of what it means for everyone back on Kamino. When he fails to get the detonator working, he tried to buy some time but knew the window of opportunity to warn Kamino was closing. He could have retreated with Rex and the others as he was ordered to, but he chose to sacrifice his life to save everyone else. And even after his death, Hevy's actions continued to make a difference. It's my theory that the moment when 99 asks Echo and Fives about Hevy and then shows them Hevy's medal shocked them to their core, because they'd never previously given any thought to life outside of their missions. Hevy's gratitude to 99 made them think about what it meant to be part of something larger; that brotherhood meant other clones as well. That life was about more than just the next battle. We have to remember that Fives and Echo didn't witness the exchange between Hevy and 99, so they don't know what happened, they don't know Hevy was planning to go AWOL, nor do they know what was said. All they know was that Hevy must have been so moved that he gave the medal representing his longed-for graduation to another clone who as far as they know, just did maintenance and sanitation and tried to be encouraging. And I think it's that particular moment, the knowledge that Hevy gave his treasured graduation medal to a brother who did something meaningful, together with Hevy's sacrifice on Rishi to save them all, that starts them on their psychological journey to evolve into the incredible men we know they later become. Had he survived I believe he would have become an ARC Trooper as well, and he would have fitted into the 501st perfectly. He would have got on well with Hardcase (and Wrecker) in particular because of their shared interests and similar sense of humour. He may well have been promoted to Sargeant at some point.
God every member of domino team should've lasted until season 4. They could easily be recurring main characters, and it wouldn't far fetched the series is called clone wars.
The fact that they're all unique without being "unique ocs - do not steal" is a testament to their writing. They don't rely on the gimmicks the way that Bad Batch does.
99: “i member all my brothers, where’s Heavy?”
Also 99: *doesn’t ask about Cutup or Droidbate*
That is quite sad

If Hevy lived he would have easily become an ARC trooper
That and he would have helped Fives stop Palpatine’s plan.
I wonder what else he would’ve been promoted to besides ARC. Would’ve been cool to see him become way more than just an ARC.
Yes
That would have been awesome.😢
Prob a gunner
“A big gun doesn’t make a big man”
Oh Cody.. it hurts every time.
At least it'll make him good support for only five clones against a droid army

Not a bad anology
Facts Hevy paved the way for his Squad to be a unique force in the clone wars. But like he said “No leaders but a team”
It’s kinda sad how heavy died to protect his squad and couldn’t join 501st
At least he went out like a hero, and didn't have to live with the guilt of killing the Jedi
8:24 “Do we take prisoners?”
“I don’t”
Priceless
Such a raw ass line

Gotta respect Rex a battle hardened commander for remembering his shiny brother Hevy 🙏
My favorite line 4:59 "oooo meteor shower"
"What the hell was that?!" had me dying 😂
"clone wars is a kids show"
@@saipranavpalla1467 I know. But still...😂
Team fortress 2 heavy: you was a good heavy very good heavy
“Who sent babies to fight me!”
“Ooooo meteor shower” I love this dude
Hevy was the leader, sad he died early. I thought he'd live long.
Definitely a good leader but like he said at 3:47
- do we take prisoners?
+ I DON'T
Love sassy Hevy
“You didn’t say pleeeaaaaaase”🤣
hevy had more character development in 9 minutes than any of the bad batch members (except maybe crosshair) had in a season and a half of episodes.
Tech had a decent amount of development too. So did echo a little. But yeah inly them and crosshair. The side characters had more than the main characters
9:11 when did he take a photo together, Cody's helmet already on phase 2. And Echo's died before all the clone wear the phase 2 armor
I know
Not really, if you watch citadel arc you can see that Echo and Fives already have something simmiliar to phase 2 armor

its sad to see people in the comments saying that he was a great clone but they still spell his name "heavy"
Why don't you do a Cody compilation?, All CC-2224 "Cody" Scenes (Clone Wars). That'll be great man!
We have to wait Cody return in Bad Batch season 2 where he already remove his chip after rex save him in bracca.
Watching heavy’s death after watching Paz vista’s death , I’m so sad 😞😞😞 😭😭😭
Hevy have been one of the greatests~
