- Truthfully, if there's any redeeming factor about this game, it's that it has a decent story. Saints Row completely over did it with the Respect points along with other side missions was way too much of a grind when it didn't contribute to anything in the game. As a Casual Gamer from the low poverty areas of Baltimore Maryland, I felt right at home with 2006 Saints Row as the environment of the game felt real in a way.
As to where 2008 Saints Row 2 didn't really leave much of a Everlasting memorable impression on me as far as environment now, have the Ultor Corporation to thank for that.😒
Saints Row deserves better than it's clown ass creator Volition clowns, at least we would have a follower better alternative if not in Grand Theft Auto series killer.
Because I'm pretty sure everyone including myself wants to play a game that has replay value etcetera, a game that you will feel good playing for many years as you won't get bored of it.
How do you feel about the reboot of Saints Row.
And not to mention how hard this game can be and how expensive everything is and that stupid store closing at night BS absolutely sucks thank god this is the only Saints Row game that does that cuz when you are low on ammo and it’s like 12:30 AM you can’t buy guns and it’s the most annoying thing ever

I know today is a good day for me when I came to the prospect of my all-time favourite Sins content creator kick off with his first Saints Row sin video.

@@syinyjuan93 Indeed you should; there is a different content creator that sinned both the SR1 and SR2 games but his field of giving sins and merits is -- whilst not bad nor even biased like CinemaSins or Dartigan -- much different from yours, especially with the unexpected jab at Republican politicians including Donald Trump over alleged groping scandals during the bit when William Sharp had Lin kidnapped as he commented how she is "pretty as a present" before "its time to unwrap [her]". Yours here is fully insightful and honestly opinionated, even when I loved a lot of aspects in the first game when I first played it on the Xbox 360 I used to own.
Dang. I didn’t think another person was gonna make an EWW video of OG Saints Row. I like it though there’s a few things you should know:
Sin #3: There’s ppl that take metal pipes to the head and still get up. It’s all about willpower at the end of it. Or maybe muscle. Idk. Last time I saw someone got hit like that, I think he was just a skinny crackhead.
Sin #6: Someone said that if you slowed the video down, you can see as he’s dodging the car made contact with his foot or something.
Sin #14: Yeah he did. In the epilogue after you destroy all the 3 gangs he said that Lin and Johnny knew the risks. And considering that the Saints is a new gang and Price from the Rollerz never heard of her, I doubt that Lin is a known member. Still miss her, though.
Sin #15: Samson is one of the dudes you see in one of the activities.
Sin #23 & #35: Ben King is ANYTHING but soft. He’s just a smart enough businessman that didn’t wanna jeopardize his money and saw the Saints as what Hector says “a bunch of mulas”.
Still can’t wait for EWW Saints Row 2, though. I hope you include its DLCs too.

@@syinyjuan93 Also, when you sinned that random phone call over a female Saint reporting about the Westside Rollerz trying to reclaim one of their territories, you mistook her voice for Lin's when she got shot (#19); it usually happened to the Hispanic female Saint caller for Los Carnales invasions and male Saint caller for Vice Kings invasions. Either they get shot point blank or their phones probably get cut off, shortly before you can return to a certain territory that your Saints claimed which a rival gang is attempting to steal back by force.
Also, if I have to give my own take on your main character's "Hispanic" voice, he sounded more like a drowsy Shaun Ryder.
It is nice to see green clothes can still be bought in Saints Row, even before the Sons of Samedi and Luchadores in sequels have them as their "flags". Whenever I get to play a SR game, I'm always sure to dress up in good volumes of green with other appropriate schemes, especially if my MC happens to be like an Oriental / East Asian version of Jean Grey since my replay of SR2 during the spring of 2022.

This my favorite saints row game but yeah I agree the respect system filling up be repetitive af
hopefully the next games aren't as heavy with the respect point requirements.
@@syinyjuan93Saints Row 2 has it but it is way easier to earn respect and the 3rd game you don’t need to spend a respect bar to play missions you can just jump right into them

I already played a couple of hrs of it but i have at most 4 more videos coming until the end of the year. So maybe in January. I should be done with the game by then.

Yea I enjoyed the story but it got repetitive fast when you constantly get respect (level) capped which breaks the flow of the main story.
Yeah the grind for these points definitely kills the flow of the game.
Saints row 1 and saints row 2 are the best in the entire world
Hopefully 2 is more enjoyable
