- Finally right? A rudimentary setup of the solenoid assembly. It still has a bit of work that needs done on account of it going Silver St. on me at the end, but that will be easy to fix. Next vid I should have the bow tie wired up and the screen put in the horn!

That roots blower is a pain in the ass. I bought one and the gearcase wouldn't hold oil because the original cardboard gasket had gone hard and stopped sealing. I drew up a replacement gasket in AutoCAD but the guy at work who runs the laser table is busy for the next week or so and can't cut my new gasket until then. Make sure you fill the oil (SAE 30) and use an aluminum-compound grease (Shell Gadus G2), not a lithium grease, on the front bearings (they only need a little bit).
Omg same with the gasket I traced it on a piece of cardboard and cut it out. And mine came with the drive shaft all mushroomed out and the lobs touched so I had to take it apart to time them. But it’s all fixed and ready!

Since my city decided to not use the whole entire system of ACA PN-20's. Speaking of ACA PN-20's, you should try to make a mini one of those. Just an idea if you decide to make a different miniature siren.
