In Iran we have 3 pizza dedicated franchises, and it's on every menu from thin Italian to American and...
But most of it is a mix between them (a thicker than usual bun and mostly pepperoni, chicken, sausage and beef). It's the best (most common and most well-made) fast-food here. I ate a very good pizza in a village with 1000 people
