I don’t understand the authenticity part.. what do they look for? do they check and see if they think the card is fake? Or if they think it wasn’t actually graded by PSA and was just faked altogether? What exactly are they authenticating ?
They are verifying the card sold is matching what we shipped. After they verify it as a seller we do not have to be concerned with BS returns
I'm just curious where you got "wrecked." You got the card your ordered. The grade is not a question. Okay it may have taken a few days longer but is that where you got "wrecked?" 14 days compared to 5-7? Please kindly explain.

I just bought a pokemon PSA 10 card on ebay and it went to Glendal Heights IL from USPS for ebay authentication. And it has been day 8 now and still no feedbacks from them so I file a moneyback in case. Called them and even talked to the seller and seems like they either lost the card or just takes forever to authenticate.. not sure ebay said can be because of holiday season. Thanks for this video it brings some hope lol. And they still have to ship to Canada after authenticate.. wow unbelievable.
Yeah this is not the fastest process and the holiday adds extra strain forsure.

The void if removed is really for the eBay vault. If you leave it in their vault it doesn’t have to go through authentication again. Outside of that, the sticker is useless because if you sell it again on eBay it still has to go through authenticity again.

They've improved the process significantly. I bought a card on Saturday and got it authenticated and delivered the next Saturday. (Jan'23)

I purchased a platinum eternity ring this week. It was advertised that it was going to be shipped to eBay for their authenticity program. Well imagine my surprise when I receive the ring and it was not checked out by eBay at all. I have reached out to the seller and they are ignoring you. There is no stamp on this ring to say that it is platinum. It’s not heavy like platinum normally is and the diamonds look fake. Will there be a reason why it wasn’t checked out by ear based program even though it was advertised as such? What recourse do I have. I requested to send that shit back but they were ignoring me still.
For Pokémon there is a 3 day return guarantee. Outside of that window your stuck with the item. You should of likely opened a case to return instantly

Dude, I have purchased several watches from eBay, and it takes at least two weeks to go through the shipping, authentication process, and then shipping to you. Not sure what else you were expecting.? They can't authenticate your watch the same day they get it, they have other watches to go through other than just yours.
I feel this man! For cards they have improved so damn much since this. Luckily cards are easier than watches as they are only authenticating already graded ones so it's pretty quick. Usually 48 hrs in their hands now
Yo good video. I would also like the option to have to choose if you want to go through the ebay authenticity process or not. I think they will add that in the future. Only makes sense for them to hold the payments until it is complete even if that is a problem for sellers. I just bought a LOB trap hole and it took an extra 5 or 6 days in shipping but IDK if I can really complain about that for a FREE service. The option to opt in or out of the service seems like the best option and I think that is where eBay is going to next. On the Bandai mirror force topic, are the first three promotion cards (mirror force being one of them) really that rare and collectable and expensive?! I wouldn't imagen them being worth that premium but I could be wrong. Id rather have a BGS 10 mirror force or a faded mirror force or some other variant than the Bandai card but that is just my opinion! Or maybe some of the early OCG mirror force cards. They suck. Extremely unprofessional. No explanation why my card was sent back. Additionally they kept my $2case and send it back in a penny sleeve. They hired some bad eggs for this process.

Nice! I’ve only bought something once that qualified for the authenticity guarantee. It traveled about an extra 1000 miles and couple weeks but the presentation of the card is pretty nice.

I agree the authenticity guarentee you should be able to click on and off. I've never heard of a psa graded item being fake
PSA slabs have been faked forsure but at least let me click it off for trusted sellers
And these days you can verify a card through their app as long as you have the label number.

There's too much risk not getting a card authenticated which is why Ebay mandates it for all card's over a certain amount at ebay's expense. It's the only way to solve disputes. Not to mention there's a significant amount of fraud on eBay even with authentication.

beautiful card. I had mirror force and all the originals back in the day in my goat deck. my deck was full of secret rares and ultra's from sets I pulled myself, just sold it all to a card shop for like 40$ back then it was literally all my best yugioh cards. RIP lol
