- So Ashtyn wasn't able to do much of any swathing last year, so she's really excited about getting back behind the wheel! But maybe not with everyone watching 😆🤷🏼♂️

Good to see the boss back at it.
Ashtyn thought she was going to get a break from chasing a kid around all day when she was ask to go swathing. Wrong.😂
Hahah right?! 😆
Actually for me it would be like therapy to jump on swather combine grain cart or truck. I did everything relating to the harvest including the seeding.
Nothing worse than a rusty wife, your words not mine.Ha Ha.
She knows what she’s doing. Nothing like having top notch help who works for free. She is everything plus a bag of chips.
Trying to lift the header with the camera's OFF button while standing outside the cabin 😂 You've definitely earned a good break after you're done combining this season 👍
Haha thanks! 😆
Actually your phone can be programmed as a remote if done by right person that knows how to do it.
I'm no farmer Mike but it looks to be a decent canola crop. Great to see Ashtyn back.
Your best videos are when you get to harvest thick crops.
Great to see ashton back in the machine.
That north farm is a blessing for you , Mike. At least you’re guaranteed a good crop every year from either one of your farms. (Hint: it’s always at the north farm 😁)
It’s a blessing until it’s freezes in June and snows in September before the crop can be harvested
Another thing that Mike doesn't really touch on are land prices. My guess is the North farm is probably 2-3 times more per acre than the south farm.
Same price.. = no brainer 🙂
@@yotekillerfromndusually it's less the farther north you go...
@@clearskiesranch1362 Hyperbole, much? I lived even farther north than that and neither of those were ever an issue.
Someones excited to be back in the machinery. 😊
Absolutely love seeing you both in the equipment. With the little guy Ashton hasn’t been in the field as much. I sure hope yal have a good harvest this year. -keep on farming you guys.
Glad to see the boss getting back into the saddle.
Thank u for taking care of him we all know he's special
She had that smile of pure enjoyment :) nice to see ya again Ashtyn
Excellent video and impressive cutting a good crop of Canola, Ashtyn, thanks.
Hello Mike, it is awesome to see Ashton back on the equipment again, still got it 👍
Great video Mike and Ashtyn
Up North is looking much better again. I like it up there 😂
Love it. Man it’s amazing how much that machine can take in at once.
Great video. Thanks you both. I’m sure the little man will be out there someday. Many blessings
Beautiful windrows! Hope it’s a great yielding crop for ya!
Great job, Ashtyn. Good to see you back 😁
Nice to see Boss Back. Thank you for sharing your family with us
Ashtyn. It's always nice to see you. I hope Mike thanks the good Lord everyday for the wonderful wife he provided.
Crop looks awesome! Glad to see the boss back in the field
Very good job.😊
Ashtyn is doing very good driving the swather! I agree with you, running a swathed well is a art!
Chapel is probably going to be spoiled well by Grandma while his mom is going harvesting.
Awesome to see ashtyn back in that saddle, it was cool to see her running the combine too, looks like some good canola mike, thanks for sharing, can't wait to see how the combine handles those massive rows, x9 is gonna be grunting, time to send it
Great video, once again! I always look forward to your videos... from a former grass seed farmer in Salem Oregon, now a Pastor!
You must be pretty happy with the north farm crop looks good!
Great job swathing Ashtyn
Everytime I click on a Mike Mitchell video it either will rip my eardrums or is very calm and quiet. Always a gamble.
Hahaha 😬😆😆
good to see ashtyn back in charge
Nice to see her back farming.!!!
Nice to see Her again
Hey Boss you know how fast to go! Don’t let Grandma… oh 😬 Brother Mike slow you down we have all wanted to push his right foot down more Sister! God Bless you and Mike and Chapel! 🙂 What a wonderful Family you make! ❤️😏🖖🏼🇺🇸
Yep great to see the partner back
WOW finally a nice stand
Awesome seeing Ashton back running Green equipment is 😂.
Great job
Good stuff! Hey from Sweden
Need for Mike to get strapped onto the swath roller & let Ashtyn give him a ride he won’t forget by putting roller up & down at various speeds: 😂🤣Might end up with a little stubble burn or field rash but GREAT video content 📹
Haha thanks! 😆
Y'all got your good-looking farming operation
I used to love swathing that was even before cabs
At least one X9 gets something to eat this year. 😂
She’s a pro I for sure would have made a pile there when he said she’s dragging oh she got it
Canola looks good!
That macdon sure cuts nice!
Looks like a good crop Mike 👌. Ours is yeiding quite well over here too.
It's Green up there at the great north farm....rain rain makes $$$$$
Looks like a pretty fair crop there
I bet Ashton will win the stuck contest!
I bet Grandma is baby sitting. 🇨🇦👍
Nice break for your wife gets out and have some fun!
Would like to see a comparison of the swath with the roller up and the roller down.
it's great to see Ashtyn back in a machine i bet she misses it like crazy another great video Mike
Welcome back BOSS
Ashtyn is a bit of a dab hand in the swather Mike!!
Looks like a nice crop of canola there buddy
Better operator than Mike because she stays in the seat and keeps working instead of walking around talking!
Ashtyn is pretty handy in a swather Mike. Think she's a keeper
Dis is amazing
Interesting to see red hydraulic line on the header of the JD MacDon. Pretty sure JD you traded off would have struggled with that massive of a windrow.
Great looking crop mike, ours have just been wiped out by flea beetle in the uk
She know's your good but she is better glad she's back 😅
What a riot
Mike, do yourself a favour and put the macdon stub guards on that header. You will never have a beaver pile again.
What an amazing wife you have!
I don't know anything about canola but it looks like a pretty nice windrow. I haven't been on a swather for darn near 20 years I bet. I can't even tell you the last time I saw a swather cutting any grain here. All I see is a few guys cutting hay.
Ashtyn certainly has a smile on her face doing what I understand is her favourite part of farming. 😊😍😊
Been wondering where she was at.....happy to see her back....
Ashtyn has been kept more than busy with Chapel as he comes up on his 2nd birthday in a couple months
@@gavinperry7237 oh yeah... little man is growing up very quick👌
i got into my nexara canola yesterday, straightcutting pulled 1500 bu off the first 20 acres, unbelievable i know
Wow! That's awesome
I'm pretty happy about it, I'm in southeast manitoba, we luckily got some moisture this year
75 bushels per acre is very good, let's hope it maintains that as a field average when you're finished.
@@leddielive lol, I'm cleaning up a few 20 acre river pieces, the next one ran 60
Majority of canola in swan valley man. is straight combined now.
Good morning
Yay, loud machines...
If your having trouble getting it through the hole on the straight runs, narrow your GPS width up by 5 ft first. Then 3
Good to see Ashtyn back...don't Jump-Scare her this time
Magnifique vidéo et la foches autauporte est bien intéressante et bien équipés 😅😊😂
First day back...on video. No pressure
Ashtyn is the “Queen Of Swathing” due her vast experience on this type of unit: She definitely will be able to teach you a few tricks of the trade
she is back ...
Question: Over here in Germany canola is usually directly combined. Why the thing with swathing? Is that in the end quicker?
Has Ashtyn ordered the trucks to start hauling Combines? If it was mine every combine, truck and auger would be running on the north farm.
10:44 ''well it won't let me go in *ROAD MODE* out here.....'' LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LOL
Looking forward to the X9 chomping into this swath!
We have questions. How long do you have to wait before combining?
She seems to be a better operator. She gets sh*t done
It takes a TEAM to run a Swather 😊 3:41
Is that the one with the rotating cab? Also Ayshtyn is OG driving
Does swathing cause any loses on the crop just by going through the head
What is the big tube mounted behind the swather?
Harvesting is easier than ever
👋😊
Is there anyone running a swather with a 60 footHoneybee head in the great white north-?
I once a picture of a 70 foot swather somewhere in Canada and it was an impressive looking machine.
Why is the swath roller up ?
Not an expert on canola, but that sure looks like the thickest/tallest I've seen (of the youTubers)! I assume the reason youre swathing is to allow controlled drying without having to dessicate and to keep shatter down?
is the spraying with the plane cheaper than swathing?
Great to see the amazing Ashton an mediocre Mike working together at the North Farm.
😆😆
How big of a header is that mike
Where is your north farm located?
Ashtyn is not mucking around, she likes to get things done. Move out Mike!!
Is there any product loss with swathing.
