The games in the Big East are always a battle. I guess I shouldn’t be so hard on Patrick Ewing. I believe he is playing a lot of people to see what he has. I agree, they are a young team. Good win!👍

Mac clung is a better player than Zion and Barrett? Consider this, he's small but crafty thus difficult to guard, he's tenacious thus hard to take off the dribble, he can jump like zion and can shoot like Barrett. Zion is big and tenacious but he always seemed like one injury away from a career-ending situation, he cannot shoot consistently and also caring that much weight with that playing style wreaks havoc on your joints. for example Jordan was a high flyer he had to resort to shooting, Shaq was a dunker I think his career would have been longer and more prosperous if he was able to shoot, Vince Carter was he dunker he had to develop a shot, no matter how you look at it all high-flyers have to become eventually shooters. the next thing, RJ Barrett who is a slasher driver to the hoop but also a shooter seems to be a Russell Westbrook type. he can be selfish which can cost his team games. I sometimes wonder where his head is at especially being a better player than Zion but Zion is getting all the hype.
Hate to say it but you can tell the rest of the team don't like McClung. Look at the on court reaction from his teammates when he hits the shot to put the game into overtime.

Instead of being jealous they should just enjoy the attention the kid brings to the team. The kid is actually good and worthy of being a go to player. By Macs junior or senior he will average like 27ppg lol

@@bigstink9 LOL, most of these kids have highlights on YT. This isn't 1960s. Most of the higher rated kids have been all over YT. Mac got a lot love from his dunks and exploits as a hs senior. Everyone knows this. Doesn't mean shit tho when your step on the floor as a college player. He has to earn the acknowledgement at this level just like everyone else. A million guys tear it up in HS only to be just average college players. He'll be fine tho...

The hype Mac had coming to G'town is unlike any player for the Hoyas since Iverson, Mourning and Ewing. Of course there's going to be some resentment. But I will say that when Akinjo made the game tying 3 pointer to get the Hoyas to the 2nd OT, his teammates on the court didn't really react either.
