His freshman year, I went to the game he played at the Dunk and he was absolutely mesmerizing. Honestly, at the time, I thought he's good but no way he can play that well long term. I was wrong. St.Johns looked hungry from the jump start. If only they can have that intensity every game. Sometimes they look bored. They need one or two other players to really be a strong team (top 15) in the nation.
Yeah, that's why the Big East has been dominating basketball for years now. People seem to think that a lot of those Southern schools are good at hoops just because they have big time football teams, but it's a completely different sport and the Big East is the best conference in the country.
