- Are you buying the same plant with different names? If you're a succulent collector/succulent addict like me, you'd try to get your hands on as much different variety of succulents. But the problem with that is it's difficult to identify one plant from another especially when they're still young. Most of the time, I end up buying the same plant three or four times over. This is because sellers and plant nurseries can a lot of times have different names or labels for the same plant.

Pisses me off too. I think some sellers here just name it whatever they think it might look like. Mostly turns out to be Apus or Morning Beauty lol. I have a lot of weird leaf plants too, Im glad its not just me. Especially with Black Prince and Sirius. So glad hubby is a little better x

Most of them have labels and also I've memorize their names just like people. Some I don't see for a while and I forget.

I get pissed off too, why do some people sell using a different name? I want so many plants I see online being sold by individuals and I just don't trust them. I'm still learning how to identify.
This is where seeing the mature plant and how it's grown is important. It can definitely save us a lot of money and heartache.
It looks like the echeveria tequila, it s a laui hybrid.

I’m having the most awful month. The cherry on the cake is that I’ve lost my wallet today. Your video was a nice surprise for a bad day.
That is awful. Two weeks ago, my brother in-law found a wallet with $700 cash in it. I track down the guy via Facebook and he came to pick it up after work. He didn't even know that he lost it. Hope a good Samaritan finds it and gives it back to you.🙏

The white plastic trough planter I got from Kmart ages ago. They don't have lining and no holes. I have to put holes in them.

Maybe try growing them in bright shade so it's not too hot for them. In the Philippines, they will grow better in rainy season.

Magandang Araw Tita Liz! Question about newly delivered rooted succulents: Can I plant them on the intermediate soil mix right away for fast growth? Also, which mix would you recommend for sempervivum? Thanks so much! I enjoyed your video like always.
Rooted ones can be planted straightaway and they will grow fast on intermediate soil mix.Just make sure to let the soil dry up between watering. Sempervivum are not fussy but prefers a more loamy soil. Even garden soil will do as long as it's fast draining and not boggy.

Hi Liz, I'm from the Philippines and recently struggling growing my succulents. I got moonstone, lola, peach candy and 2 more that went mushy after planting them. I am not really sure what is the problem since some of my othet succulents that I planted together with them doesn't have a problem. Its frustrating on my end seeing my succulents dying. Hope you can give my tips and advice. btw, what a gorgeous succulents you have. 😊

Kumusta po.🥰 I find that the secret to growing most succulents first start with the soil mix. If you get that right.....it will be a case of plant and forget. Of course you have to check on them to find out out what they need and then provide that. Different succulents have different needs. My videos have a lot of information that hopefully will guide you to successfully grow succulents. Thanks for watching.

I bought sedum clavatum cuz I loved loved loved yours, I got it 6months ago and took off multiple cuttings to give the new babies room to grow. Well I finally just put them outside cuz we have our summer coming and they all exploded. The cuttings are having babies and they are getting FAT. I worry though we get ALOT of thunderstorms here in USA, I worry too much rain. Yours do okay with all the rain??
You make me laugh, you said " I can't run around with a puffer blowing out the centers" well that's me. I have never put mine outside and you convinced me it's better for them. I worry though I even put out my70 propped babies. Fingers crossed they don't all drown on me . Xxxoooo thanks for the laughs Liz , wish we could share a 🍩 and a ☕.
They seem to love the rain. No rot so far. It's the frost that new growth can't handle.
The baby props with roots if grown outside becomes a much more stronger plant than their indoor grown counterpart. Seems slow growth mean strong plants. Fast growth weaker plants.
Hey Liz I am kinda new to your channel and succulents. Well I have grown them for a long time but now I am getting into different kinds. I see you sometimes soak your pots from the bottom but then you take your sprayer and then just water them from the top. How do you know which ones you can top water and which ones do you bottom water. Any help will be appreciated .. Love your channel ❤️❤️❤️
The bottom watered ones are the ones either the plants too big for the pot or too far gone dry or too much farina. Otherwise, I prefer to hose them all down except when I'm spraying them with fertilizer or seaweed tonic where I use my pressure sprayer.

Hi ma'am I'm from India my main problem is Mealybug 😔
Mealybug like dry soil condition. I don't get much but when I do, I just pluck them out and spray with my metho solution. You can also use systemic fungicide to spray your plants regularly.
Did you cut Pedro's feather???
Never. He keep loosing his old tail feather but new ones grow again.
